Did I spell that right?

ARe you guys seeing this? There are already some gas stations south of the city here (Atlanta) charging close to $3 a gallon.

I heard Hertz and some insurance companies raised their rates last night.

I hope they realize that we wont forget this in the future.

LIKE ANYONE NEEDS THIS S*** RIGHT NOW!!!

Sorry guys - but that is unacceptable.

It doesn't surprise me that people will take advantage of a situation like this. Happens everytime there is a threat of a hurricane here in Florida. However, I don't think this will be tolerated. I know the Mayor in NY already said they will prosecuted & fined right on the spot if anyone even attempts to price gauge, he has ruled it illegal. I hope the rest of the country follows. It is fair. There are no shortages in the other states, so there is no reason to be jumping up the prices.
