When i drove to pick up my kids this afternoon i noticed that most people were driving with their headlights on. Then i heard the radio announcer ask all drivers here in brisbane australia to put on their headlights as a sign of respect to those lost in the tragedy.
The whole world is thinking of you.
I am numb and scared at the same time. What will happen next? Are we heading for a world war?

No, I don't think it will be a world war like in the past. This act of terrorism isn't coming from another country...it's coming from a specific terrorist political group who doesn't have the funding nor the warfare to even fight back once the U.S. retaliates. The hard part will be locating the person(s) behind it because they tend to hide very well. However, it sounds as though President Bush isn't going to stand for anyone or anyplace that harbors or encourages terrorists. The retaliation will come soon, they won't tell us exactly when, but I have a feeling it will be soon & it will send a very loud message that terrorism will no longer be tolerated.

I think something like this will unite the humane countries, the ones that value human life & want to make the world a better place. Perhaps this will be the end of terrorism as we know it......I can only hope.

Jen

Dawn,

It is so touching the out pouring of support and sympathy offered by other countries. It makes me very proud of the world. It is hard to realize that we are all human beings until something like this happens. Thank you and your fellow australians for your support and prayers and sympathy, you are all wonderful.

love and peace be with you
Lonetta
