I found that so sweet and sad at the same time. I am sure it was wonderful to hear from a loved one a last time. But Oh! Can you imagine the minutes they spent wondering about the outcome of the situation. Then to see the horror on the TV! Each new story that is told from the familes is so sad. What can one say in those final minutes?

I cannot imagine what must have been going through those people`s minds during those last few minutes~~~~~I am still dumbfounded by it all! I`ve been crying all day. My husband and I picked up our son at 10:00 am from school today~~~just wanted him home with us. We live in the suburbs of Chicago and his school is in the landing path for airplanes at O`Hare International airport~~about seven to ten miles from it. The planes are so low sometimes. How do you explain to a seven year old what and why this happened when I don`t even understand it myself~~~~the hatred of some people being such that they`re are willing to kill themselves and take innocent people with them? Each day it seems like a little more of their innocence(sp?) is stripped from our kids. They shouldn`t have to hear of all the horrible things that go on. What a sad, sad, day it is....................
