Default More Hungry Now than Before?!?!

I have been on adipex now for a week (well, tomorrow will equal a week). Before I started on this, I really wasn't a hungry person. I rarely had many cravings... I hated eating by myself or late at night... I really wouldn't feel a great sense of hunger until it was dinner time (although I made myself eat before that if I could). I have alot of pregnancy weight I need to lose.

The first day I was on adipex I felt amazing! I could feel my hunger going down, especially my desire for sodas (that is my downfall... food I could avoid.. but coke is a hard one). I had these affects to Sunday. After that I was feeling more and more hungry. I haven't had coke all week long... not sure if thats even a contributing factor here... but I am more hungry now than I was even when I was pregnant! I am trying to keep track of what I am eating to make sure this hunger doesn't get the best of me, but I am just not sure what to think. I hate the feeling of hungry and actually enjoyed the fact that I could eat just a small something when I knew I needed to and not because I was controlled by my hunger or cravings.

Has anyone else experienced this? I am honestly not sure what to think and even my husband is confused with how hungry I am. I am hoping that I am just about to get my TOM... I have no idea because I still haven't had mine since having my 2nd baby 8 weeks ago. And I had only had 2 intween my first and second kid (they are 18 months apart). I am just confused and very frustrated! No one wants to feel more hungry than before they went on this medication!

If you google "starvation mode" or "truth about starvation mode" it really might interest you.

No matter how strong the meds are, if you aren't eating enough you're going to be hungry as heck.

Plus, since you've given up something you've been used to having every day that contains a load of sugar, and salt. . you'll go into withdrawal. So make sur eyou're drinking TONS of water - since you're giving up the coke. If you're feeling really super hungry and are about to chow down at the golden corral. . drink an 8oz coke instead. . . that might just give you the feeling you were craving instead of food. . . and I'm pretty sure an 8oz reg coke is only 100calories.
