Hi I had posted before that I was getting hives from taking the phen. Well I stoppes about 3 or 4 days ago. I still am getting hives. So I guess its not the phen. I am also totally crashing here. I have ABSOLUTLEY no energy. I slept all day today. I have been walking 5 miles everyday for 3 months and yesterday I had to do 3 in the morning and 2 in the evening. I always did them in the morning! I hate feeling like this. I want to start them again but my hair falling out is keeping me from taking them. I wish I knew what the hell is giving me hives? I have to take a benadryl in the morning for the hives so that makes me sleepy all day long!!! This ****s.....

I was getting hives a year ago, way before I started Phen. I was referred to a dermatologist, and had allergy testing. I found out I was allergic to lots of foods (dairy, yeast, sugar, red meat, caffeine, peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, etc.) But I was also told that aspirin and codeine can trigger off hives if you have already had them. Sure enough, mine was the codeine I was taking for a bad back. I haven't had them since I stopped taking codeine/spirin. I took Phen for almost 2 weeks, and I didn't get hives, but I did get other symptoms. I hope this helps.

yeah my sister told me the same thing. I got like 3 hives yesterday after I took a shower. I am thinking it is either the hot water I showered with or the soap or dairy because I ate some ice cream yesterday. I took my phen today and I feel alive again. I am going to the doctor on Monday. Thanks everyone.

    Hi all,

I might have some bad news for those of you that have hives after showering. The same thing happened to me after taking phentermi8ne for one month. After I would shower, I wopuld have the hives especially around my inner thighs. I thought it was the water so I purchased a water filter, but it didn't work. I finally had to see my dermotologist because the itchig and welts became unbearable. He diagnosed me with ictericia which is a known side effect of phentermine furthermore he diagnosed me with "dermagraphism". You can find out about it if you "goggle" search it. Anyway, I investigated some more and searched in the 2006 PDR for known side effects of phentermine, and there it was as well. I still have the condition despite stopping phentermine and this was 1 year ago. I have to take an antihistimine regularly to control the hives and itching. There is no cure and it will stop when it wants too. So I defenately weight the risks before taking it. I hope this was helpful and good luck to you all.

    Love Buddha
