Did anyone experience any Hair loss with phentermine?

I can't really be sure but it seems that my hair is slightly thinner than before. I've always shed a lot of hair anyway so I don't know if it's just me but has anyone had noticable hair loss with phentermine or heard of anything like that?

Mine falls out a lot, too. There are many prescription meds that contribute to hair falling out, and I guess Phen is one of them.

Actually hair loss isn't a known side effect of phen but if you are deficient in certain nutrients hair loss could be a common side effect. If you aren't already on a good multi vitamin I would suggest getting one.

Hair loss can absloutely be a side effect!! I've taken phen on and off for years and I always notice a lot more hair in my brush and drain when I'm taking phen. Google hair loss and phentermine and you'll see how many ppl have this side effect. Talk to a cosmotologist about how certain drugs can cause hair loss and they can tell you. Especially if this was something that you noticed only AFTER you started phen. If you noticed it before then I would suggest seeing a doctor for a complete blood work-up. Don't worry about it because it usually isn't bad enough to notice other than when you brush and wash your hair. Good luck!!!

She did talk to a Cosmetologist...that would be me.......

[/B]Hi there I just registered and wanted to put a post but I didn't know how so I clicked on the quick reply. i just wanted to say I have looked at some picture and wow can't believe how everyone has lost so much weight. I have not started the pills yet but will soon. I want to first go to the doc to see if they will perscribe be the pills, if not i will see what I do. So what should I except when taking the pills? A coworker of mine is taking them now and seems to like them. She is taking them with the Ali pills. She went to a doc and that is what he told her to do. Well I will tell you all when in fact I do start the pills. It will be very soon.
