Hey there, thanks for being so candid about your struggle. I think that all of us have that fear, in some respect, that we won't be able to maintain the weight once it is off. I hope that in this year and a half that you have been on Phen you have been able to make healthy lifestyle changes in terms of the way you eat and exercise. It's important not only for maintaining a good weight, but also for your overall health, to make good choices in regard to food and fitness. Phen isn't meant to be a forever solution, but it certainly helps us while we are getting to where we want to be. After that, it's our job to do the right things that will help us maintain that goal. I know that for myself, it took a while of me being on Phen before I stopped viewing it as a "magic pill" and started changing my whole outlook and attitude about my overall health and food. So there are many ways to maintain without having to depend on the Phen. I'm in that transition phase, myself, where I've just now begun to get serious about exercise and am incorporating that into a healthy diet as well. These are things that really go against my nature, but I'm realizing that I will NOT be happy as an overweight person and there simply is no excuse for me not to stay fit. I'm finished having babies, so I can't use pregnancy as an excuse anymore, and it's time to take my body back...for good. I know that in terms of the tiredness, you may feel like you can't let go of the Phen, but there are other ways to get the energy you are seeking. Making sure you are getting proper nutrition with lots of protein etc, and staying hydrated, cutting out sodas and lots of carbs and sweets and other things that sabotage your energy levels, as well as not just living a sedentary lifestyle are things that will help in terms of your tiredness. There are other "phrends" on the forum that are much better at pointing you in the right direction in terms of the proper things to do to help transition and wean off of the Phen, so I'm hoping to defer to them and I know you'll get lots of helpful advice. You CAN do this, so don't give in to that fear of letting go. You have to at some point, and you need to just keep telling yourself that you can and will maintain your weight loss!!! Congrats to you, by the way! That's awesome!!!

I just started Phen about 3 days ago and was told by the doctor and pharmacy that this pill was short term only. At the most 3 months. That it was just a starter pill for me to get my eating back on track. I would suggest you go to your doctor and get some blood work done and tell your doctor what is going on. You dont want to stop this pill all at once, you need to wean yourself off of it. Im sure you will still have all your energy without having to take Phen because you have lost all your weight and probably will feel great without it. Just check your weight each week and if you notice a weight gain then cut back. You have done great! I just think the way you are feeling is a little concerning and just to ease your mind I would just let a doctor check you out. Good look and let us know how you are!

Hi, I started taking Phen about 2 weeks ago, and I am having the same problem with breathing. I can't take a deep breath, either. A few days after I started, I began having chest pains, and went to the doctor. He told me I had costochondritis, after doing a chest x-ray, EKG, and breathing test. I have asthma also, and I was wondering if the Phen could be making my asthma worse.
