Help! Extreme headache and nausea...

Today is my second day on phen and i woke up this morning with an enormous headache and nauseated. After I took the phen it only got worse. I do have allergies and thought maybe it was because of that...but I don't think so. I am so nauseated I am having trouble moving around and I don't wanna eat, but I did...which only made it worse. It could just be a bug that going around...but I was interested to hear if anyone else has had this so soon on phen.

37.5 mg phen...I am still very nauseous and belch a lot. I've been drinking lots of water as well. Not tons...but at least 96 oz of water a day...not to mention a couple glasses of tea as well. I've read on here that not drinking water can give you headaches...but I don't think that's it. Maybe just caffeine withdrawl....oooo there are oodles of things it could be I guess. My daughter was sick yesterday, vomiting and headachy..maybe i've just got a bug. But with being new on this stuff I wanna make sure I don't miss anything important my doc should know about.

I see you just started this month. I started out like you on 9/19 and I was nauseated everyday, couldnt sleep and I think I had a headache too. I think the worst for me was the nausea, and not sleeping. It was unbearable at times and I was discouraged. But good news, once I took less things got a lot better. I think i still was nauseated but not as bad. I think after being on it a week I didnt notice it anymore and didnt have any of them symptoms. I think your body just needs time t adjust.
When Im off from work I take a whole pill including today and seems like i got a little buzz going. So maybe try that.
Plus first sign of dehydration is a dry mouth which we get from the pills and guess what the second one is...HEADACHE but again the pills can do that too. Drink lots of fluid and take some tylenol thats what helped me.
What dose are you on. I was started on 37.5 of the white ones with the blue specks. I thought bout not taking it anymore but someone on here told me to take half of the pill. If you take capsules, Ive heard people opening up the capsule and taking half of the powder out then taking it. I wish you luck. Hang in there it will get better.

After reading your comments, it's good to know that I'm not alone. You see, I thought it was just me who'd get headaches. Anyway, I spoke to a friend who's used Phen and they said to take half the amount like carolann. But will taking half the amount still help you lose weight? I guess that's my concern.

hEY THERE JUST WANTED TO LEAVE U A MESSAGE....ABOUT THE HEADACHES AND NAUSEA!!! i USED TO HAVE LOTS OF HEADACHES ALSO WHEN I FIRST STARTED AND DIDNT THINK THEY WOULD EVER GO AWAY.......i THEN STARTED TAKIN HALF A PHEN A DAY AND YES U WILL STILL LOSE WEIGHT WITH HALF.....I TOOK HALF OF IT IN MORNING AND THE OTHER HALF BEFORE LUNCH.....AND STILL LOST WEIGHT NO TROUBLE...ALOT OF PEOPLE DOES THIS AS THE WHOLE PILL IS JUST TO MUCH.....

BUT NEVER EVER BREAK A CAPSULE INTO AND TAKE SOME OF THE POWDER OUT AND TAKE IT....THAT IS A VERY BAD IDEA AND SHOULD NOT BE DONE.....I WORK IN A HOSPITAL AND AM AROUND A LOT OF MEDICINES.....AND U CAN EVEN GO ONLINE AND READ ABOUT PHEN AND THEY WILL TELL U NOT TO CHEW OR BREAK OR CRUSH IT INTO.....NOW IF U HAVE THE TABLET SURE ITS OK TO SLIT INTO....BUT NO MATTER WHAT KIND OF MED IT IS IF ITS A CAPSULE U NEVER WANT TO BREAK IT OPEN...ITS NOT SAFE.....BUT YESS DRINK LOTS OF WATER FOR THE HEADACHES AND UR BODY WILL EVENTUALLY GET USED TO THE PHEN AND U WILL GET RID OF THOSE HEADACHES.....U R SUPPOSED TO DRINK HALF OF UR BODY WEIGHT IN OUNCES OF WATER A DAY....GOOD LUCK AND DONT GIVE UP U WILL GET THROUGH THIS AND START SEEEIN GREAT RESULTS!!!!!!!!! But I have a killer headache. I'm a bit scared because I used to get migraines when I was on adderall and it turned out it was causing high blood pressure, but this doesn't feel like a high BP headache. Should I call the doc in the morning? I'm afraid she will jerk me off these meds if I do. Should I wait a few days and see? Please help me someone.

What other meds are you on?

The only reason I ask is because I was taking fenflouramine (prozac) with phentermine in the morning....just chugged a bunch of water and then would take my birth control pill at night before bed- ever since I started all 3 in and around september, i was having HORRIBLE migraines, so bad that I threw up one morning and scheduled an appt with a doc ASAP. She took me off all 3 medicines and I just started taking phentermine again yesterday. She also gave me a script for tetrimex I think and it works wonderfully for my headaches.

if I were you, I would evaluate which other scripts might be interferring with the phen- if you aren't taking anything else, than I would give it atleast a week. I took phentermine 3 years ago and I remember the bad headaches for about a week or so - then they just kind of went away.

If after 2 weeks or more and you still have super bad headaches, I would call your doc- remember to eat atleast 1,000-1,200 calories a day and atleast 64 oz of water.
