Hi Lovin',
Water does make you feel fuller, however we must drink it to lose weight. It is often said that anything below 1200 is starving and your body will hold onto the weight. You won't lose much. AND if you are exercising you have to account for the calories you are burning too, which puts your calorie intake even lower.
The water thing is excellent! Keep drinking. You said you feel sick when you eat more than less. My suggestion if you are not already doing it, is to space your foods out throughout the day, making them three meals and three snacks (all healthy). Maybe every day or every other, add a little more to your meals and snacks to condition your stomach/body to eating up to a certain amount of calories. The feeling of totally not wanting to eat will subside some with time and it will get easier.
I started out around your weight, and was losing weight very slowly eating the amount of cals you are now. After consulting with people here, and doing some research, I found I was not eating enough. When i increased my cals by 300-400 cals a day, the weight started fall off, because I took into account the amount of cals I was burning just from living (you know, the cals your body burns to keep your organs functioning etc) AND the exercise cals. You are burning more than you realize, and not eating enough.
Sooo, it's a process. Sometimes we have to work up to what really works well to help with the weight loss. Try increasing your intake little by little like I suggested. Hopefully it will work for you as it did for me. Vitamins wouldn't hurt either! Good luck and let us know how you are doing!
