Default Lots of troubles, anyone have answers?

I couldn't sleep at all last night! At all!
I don't mind the upped sexual arousal because it's making my relationship better, but I seem to get very cold very easily. My heart rate being so high is also scaring me, is this normal?
I also have so little appetite that I can't bear to eat. Is there a way to force myself through the appetite suppression? 1200 calories sounds like so much food.
Headache too, but this is probably from lack of food, heart rate being up, and I need to start my 8 glasses for the day. Not too worried about that.

I am a small person already, would it be wise for me to cut my dosage in half? I'm prescribed the 37.8 mg and I'm worried it may be a lot for someone my size.

Answers plz! I'll take any you've got!

I barely slept the first week either. Thankfully that subsided and I'm now sleeping at least 8 hours a night. If you are able to try cutting them in half. When your body gets used to them and you think you can handle the full dosage, start taking them again. These are things that you already suggested, but they do help with most people. Good luck!!!

How long have you been on Phen? Did the doctor give the phen? It seems strange to me that at 112lbs you would need phen, but I am new to it so I don't know how it works. Let me know.
Oh and I'm really not judging, I'm just really curious. My doctor never really talked about how long I could take it.
    Thanks

I think you mean 37.5. The side effects you are describing are typical. I don't think my Phen is working if I don't have them but that's just me. My plastic surgeon started me on the 37.5 and it was just too much. So like "litasmama" said, I just took half. I still felt the effects but not as bad. You could also try to eat something and then take half. It lessens the effects as well.

Drink water or something even though you don't have an appetite, again I suggest V8 if you can tolerate it. It's only 50 calories. I don't worry about the sodium content because I'm also prescribed water pills. But this may help with the headaches. I don't consume 1200 calories EVER! I don't care what anybody says. I may take in 500 on a good day. Remember, you have to burn more than you consume. I know some people may say that's not healthy and so on. But you have to manipulate it and find what works for you.

Thanks so much, both of you! I'm not a big V8 person but that suggesting is certainly a good one and helps me remember options like that. Is it wise to eat so few calories? It always seems like an all right idea (especially considering how much I exercise), but I know that one's metabolism slows down and begins storing anything it can get, and that once you begin trying to eat normally it's hard to manipulate your metabolism to maintain your low weight, and that if you starve your body goes into ketosis and often 30% of lost weight is from muscle your body is burning. I've fasted before, for long periods of time, with little bad side effects, so should I not let those ideas concern me?

also, to dbrigham78: Yes, it was prescribed to me (it may not have been a reputable place, so I cannot vouch for whether or not prescribing it to me was really the best idea on the doctor's part), I only began taking it a day ago, and I happen to be very short =)

    Smile New to Phen...

I have been taking Phentermine since February 20th. I am very happy with the 1st months loss 19.8 lbs. The dry mouth and dizzy feeling is bout the most of my side effects. I drink lots of water and that helps.

Also the Dr. who prescribed them to me also said to eat low carb and take Alli too. The first 30 days I followed diredctions to a T. Since the 1 month weigh in I have not been 100% on my proteins and greens only diet.

Dr. said can only take Phen for 6 months then I will have to try something else if I still need a drug to lose. I am curious how long others have been taking Phen and what the side effects have been. Did you notice a big diference after you stopped taking Phen?

    Thanks in advance.
