It is odd; but I have had panick attacks for the last couple of years. I was widowed at 35 and my doctor thinks it has something to do with that. Anyway, I was put on 37.5 mg. of effexor and I have not had one since. If I even think about forgetting my pill however, I start to feel anxious and believe me I never want to have another full blown attack. I feel like I can not even swallow when I am having one. It is a terrible feeling of impending doom or worse and a feeling like you need help, but you can not figure out what help you need. Since starting the Phentermine I have not had any feeling like that. But... I did wonder if I would. I am confident your doctor can help you out. Ask him for something like a xanax to carry with you just in case it ever happens again. At least you will have something that can help you feel in control. Also, on a side note, a benadryl is also an anit-anxiety medication. Good luck and just remember to put some things in place like meds etc or people that you can call and say, "help me get home by talking to me, etc. I told my husband and my best friend so that if it happened and it did a few times, I could call them and I had at least some comfort in knowing they would not judge me or come get me if I needed them to.
Psalms 91:1
God bless you.
