Peanut Butter reaction?? - Phentermine.com

HI, I started Phen a week ago and the day I started I had a weird reaction to a handfull of peanuts, the top of my mouth swelled. Then the next day not eve thinking about it I had a peanut butter sandwhich and the same thing only worse & I had to take Bedadryl. I have never had an allergy to peanuts/butter or anything at that.

Anyone else experience this? or maybe just coinscidence? I'm afraid to eat peanut anything now.

People who have never reacted to a certain food, such as peanuts, can have an onset just as you described, out of the blue. From that first onset, you should avoid that food from now on. An allergist can confirm the reaction, and you should follow up with your doctor. It can and will progress to a more severe reaction. You should probably arm yourself with an Epi-pen and keep benadryl tabs in your purse. I doubt that your reaction was due to the Phentermine.
