Phentermine.com has no influence on adverts that are displayed on this Forum
I think you should talk to your dr about this. Also Dont forget to drink plenty of water. Not just a glass or two but more like a gallon of water a day. May help your manly hood ;o) Keep your spirits up and go see your dr.
no need to worry at this moment. It should subside within the next week.
Just tell your partner to be patient, and hopefully it'll be worth it, haha.
Hello guys,
I've taken phentermine several times over the past 15 years @ 1.5 x 37.5mg daily for four to six months at a time to curb appetite.
It definitely causes impotence! However, the good news is that the impotence disappears within a week or so after discontinuing use.
It also causes your penis and scrotum to shrink, but thankfully that side effect is not permanent either. They both return to their normal size within 48 hours after discontinuing use.
Phentermine seems to have an antihistamine effect on me. It clears up my chronic stuffy nose, which -- according to my wife --- reduces my snoring significantly.
I have also discovered that my urination is 3x -5x more frequent and the output only about 50-100 ml. I thought I had a prostrate problem, but after extensive urology examination they could find no explantaion for the frequent and weak urination. To the doctor's surprise my prostrate was actually smaller than normal. Some months later I stopped taking phentermine and noticed the frequency of my urination had returned to normal.
Anyone see a pattern here?
Each of these side effects is directly the result of phentermine causing mucus tissue to contract: urethra, scrotum, nose, prostrate.
I hope this helps. Tell your wives and girl friends to be patient all will be well as soon as you stop taking phentermine. In the meantime this is a good opportunity to practice your oral sex skills.
Cheers,
I stopped using Meridia because of the same side effect mentioned, namely, erectile dysfunction. I changed over to Phentermine recently as an alternative. I have only noticed one effect at all. Instead of E.D., I actually have the opposite problem. I have found longer stamina to the point of not having my ultimate satisfaction before becoming totally worn out. The woman prefers this side effect to that of Meridia, and I can deal with it better. I have been on Phentermine about almost two weeks and will see how it goes from here. I have a follow up visit with my doctor in a couple of weeks.
As the user previously posted, I have similar sexual side effects. I am only on my 3rd day of taking phentermine.
May be graphic, but I am hoping the previous poster (although it was back in September!) can respond to this to let me know if the side effects went away on their own or if you just had to stop taking the medicine.
I have a similar raised scrotum and smaller than normal penis (when flaccid). I have very little sexual desire. I'm 25, so this is not normal for me. I generally have some sort of sexual activity at least once a day, and have never before had any type of sexual problem.
Last night, after waking up in the middle of the night after my pleasant three hours of sleep that phen will allow me to have, I was able to get an erection...but that's it. No ejaculation seemed to be possible...not good when someone is trying their hardest to make it happen. As soon as we gave up, soft almost immediately.
Does anyone have any insight on this? I would think that this would be a very popular subject if it happens to other men - this is something that you tend to care about more than a little jitter.
Mainly I'm concerned about long term side effects and/or impotence. If this is something that will only happen when taking the medication, then it may be worth it to go a few days on/one day off to at least be able to have a healthy relationship! But if this is a long term effect I will stop immediately.
Any ideas, comments, suggestions are greatly appreciated (besides "go see your doctor" - obviously, but I can't get back in until Wednesday)
D.a.m.n. men, sorry but some of the ladies here, including me, can't get enough. I hope your partners have patience.

Well, I'm responding to my own post hoping this helps some poor guy in the future.
When first freaked out, I went to the doctor and she checked me out. Basically said it was side effects of phentermine, nothing permanent, and that hopefully it would go away. We decided to try a different dosage of the medicine - but I decided I'm fat and screw it I'll just keep taking it.
Well the side effects went away. I'm finally able to sleep (6 solid hours woohoo!), and everything else is looking and working normally as well. I have to admit that after a few days, when we were finally able to make it work it was well worth the wait!
I think the combination of noticing the change, worrying about it, and my initial "high" from the medicine mixed with 2 days on 4 hours of sleep total just made me a little neurotic.
Everything's good now!
WooHoo s5cents - that is GREAT news.

I just started phen 37.5 a few days ago and I'm seeing the exact same problem as s5cents.
But by the sounds of it, this particular side effect will go away soon. So I guess it only took you a few days? Thanks.
Dont need to worry, some times this make some problems, but after some time you will be normal. I was using some pills which increase my heart beat. But after a weak I was normal.
