Callygirl, I have been on phen for 2 days and I have had a continual headache. Its strange I was on phen 5 years ago and didn't experience this problem. I wonder why. By the way, Hello, I'm spudmom, Im in California, and I am new to this site.

Callygirl - a headache in the first few days is pretty common. Some ideas to help ease the headache are:

Make sure you are drinking at least 8 oz of water each hour. The phen makes it very easy to get dehydrated and keeping a regular intake of fluid will help to ease the headache.

Make sure you are eating regularly. The appetite suppressent is so strong the first few days, many people completely stop eating. That will give you headaches because your brain and body still need fuel, even if you don't feel hunger. Regular snacks will help - have an apple, some baby carrots, a banana, some lean turkey. If you eat something small every 2-3 hours, that will help.

    Good luck to you!

    Hi,
I've got the same advice as TameraZ. I had headaches at first and sometimes still do (I'm at the three week mark) if I need to drink water. At first I don't think you can drink enough water for anything. I know the rule is 8 8oz glass a day but that is for the average person. Not one larger than average, on medication, who lives in a dry climate, or is very active. Also the no or very little food in the beginning can do the headache thing. Good luck and welcome.
