Hi Everyone...
I've been on Phen 37.5mg since last Thursday. I've been feeling GREAT...until yesterday. I've been taking my pill around 11am...about 2 hours after I eat breakfast. Yesterday I skipped breakfast which was dumb I know. Anyway, around 9am yesterday, I started feeling lightheaded, dizzy, clammy and just kind of "tingly" all over. I took my pill at 11am like normal. The symptoms continued to get worse until around 3pm. Then they started to get better and continued to get better for the rest of the day/evening. I ate lunch at 1pm and had dinner at 6pm and a fat-free pudding around 8pm. Naturally I thought I'd just screwed myself by not eating breakfast. But now today, after a yogurt, banana and half a bagel for breakfast...I'm starting to feel the same thing. My whole body is kind of "tingly" again and I'm clammy. Definitely not as bad as yesterday, but I'm just worried. I thought I'd ask you all first before calling the doctor. I'm not the type of person to run to the doctor every other second. If any of you have experienced anything like this or have any advice...please let me know. Thanks!!

vilegirl,
Good news for for you.. It should get better. I had the same thing happen to me... I wasn't sleeping much, not eating enough and also not drinking enough water. When I felt that way. I had taken the pill at 0630 am like I always do. After only having 2 hours of sleep. I ate breadfast around 8am. Had an apple .. bad choice first thing in the morning.Citrus on an empty stomach with phen doesn't work well. For me anyway. I hadn't drank enough water either.I ate lunch around 11am.. can't rememeber what I ate... and dinner was around 6pm.. But from 8am till midnight, I felt that way. I know that sleeping is hard on the phen. But you should try to get at least 5 hours of sleep, also make sure you eat. Your not supposed to starve yourself. The phen still need food to work, if you starve yourself now, then when you stop taking it you'll just put the weight back on. Water .. water is the key. Drink it all day and have it with you all day. Readily available. Anyway. The next day I was refreshed.. got 5 hours of sleep ate a nutragrain bar for breakfast and figured out that I need snacks inbetween not to get that way. So I usually take two pieces of fruit with me to work. one I eat around 0930am and the other about 1400pm. Body's work differently. BUt that worked for me. SO sleep, food inbetween and water. And it should go away... Hope I helped you some.. Got just one question for you.. Why do you take it so late in the morning?
