Question
Anyone else out there recently doctor prescribed for this? I am...I pay $36 for 2 months worth...but had to call around to about a million pharmacies to find one who still had it in stock. Don't know if I'll be able to fill the prescription next time or not. At any rate, I've been on it for 12 weeks, and have only lost 12 pounds. I go in for my update visit on Thursday. Should I ask to try something else, like Zenical or Meridia? I know they are more expensive, but I'd like something a little. Faster. I was 206 when I started, my goal is 160 (still big, a size 16, but where I'm most comfortable at, and within the prescribed body mass index...
I have more energy, little or no hunger, except at night, when it's starting to wear off. Therefore, I eat small meals for breakfast and lunch and 800-900 meals for dinner. could that be the reason it's so slow? I'm eating the majority of my 1500 calories a few hours before bed. The only exercise I get in is a brisk 30 minute walk over my lunch hour.....

Thanks for the encouragement. Size 16 to some people is considered obese, but my boyfriend is very large, and has little patience with my need to slim down at all. I'm pretty happy with a size 16...besides, who can afford a new wardrobe. I made it down to a 14 once, and it was a costant struggle to maintain....the 16 is easy, if I just pay a little bit of attention, and keep up some kind of activity.....
