Cool
Hey Everyone!
I was not really into medicines until I saw my mother drop 60 lbs. on Phentermine last year and she kept it off. I started Phentermine at the first of the year and have lost 64 wonderful pounds. In that time, I have maybe 3 or four times had to "resist food." The only side effects I have had was the dry mouth for the first month, constipation (which my mom says went away for her, but not for me) and flushing of the face every day around 2:00pm and lasts for 30 minutes. Phentermine is a sympathetic stimulator in that if you think about it, sympathetic stimulation is anytime you have been frightened, or excited, or scared...your heart beats faster and stronger, you have incredible amounts of energy, dry mouth, your face gets flushed, and your guts stop moving food as fast because more blood is shunted to the heart and brain and less to the gut.
I have had a hard time getting Phentermine at my pharmacy. They say it is a problem with an increased demand. I see why.
It has been almost six months and I still am losing weight providing that I drink tons of water. I drink around 5 liters of water a day as I am a student and sit all day in class.
I have 20 lbs left to lose though this is the lowest I have been in years. I have moved from "severely obese" to almost normal. I hope I can keep this f off. While you are on it, it feels like you will never be fat again. When I am off a day, I can notice a detectable change in my appetite.
Good luck to everyone who gets put on it. I love it. It does make me mad that I think this is how skinny people feel all the time. No wonder they don't understand anout being heavy! I wish I felt like this forever. I wouldn't have a problem with food ever.
Good luck,
Bran

Hey Bran, Great job man. But please tell me what you are doing. I sit in an office all day and try to exercise about 30 minutes a day and have only lost about 18 lbs. since the middle of march. Maybe weight loss is easier for guys, dont know. But i will be glad when i lose as much as you have, i still have about 65lbs to go. What's your secret. Also, my pharmacy told me they wouldnt have anymore phentermine until august, so i have to get the name brand Adipex, which is about $35 more per prescription. You are an inspiration, and i hope to be in the situation you are in right now, it must be so great. I'll just keep trying. If you have any advice, please post. Thanks

Hey KKMartin,
I dunno what I did! I don't typically lose weight quickly. Right now I am taking nutrition at school and they give you a computer program with the book. I have been ranging between 1200-1600 calories a day. I haven't been keeping track. People in my class think something is up because I eat every class....like a nutrigrain bar, fat-free jello chocolate pudding (YUM!), low-fat yogurt, pretzels. Small stuff. Out of my wight classes a day, I eat probably in 4 of them. The only candy I have wanted is swedish fish, jelly beans, or twizzlers, I keep those around the house and now my 2 year old is jelly-bean addicted. I think the water is the big kicker. I drink like 5 liters a day as I sit in class. (It took a while to work up to that) and I don't drink diet soda anymore for various reasons including money (We were spending $10 per week in soda! I could of had cable!)
As I approach my final month on it...I am telling myself that it doesn't work and I am doing this on my own. I know that is not wholly true, because when I don't eat I get jittery. I am hoping that by eating the same type of foods, I will follow that pattern. I have stayed the same for the last 3 weeks which is frustrating...but my Mom says, which is true that it will come off if you persist. I pulled out my tracker that I have been keeping and I see a pattern. Ill go no loss, no loss and then BAM! 5 lbs.
Has any of this helped? How do you like Adipex? Is it different than Phentermine?
I read on one of these chats that you can stay on Phentermine forever. I would think that would be equivalent to working on Wall Street full time, not good. Good luck, KK!

Hey Huggs!
Way to go! I have 15 lbs that I would like to lose on my own. I cannot get Phentermine in the 30 mg, I stopped two days ago. I was desperate at first, but then thought, "Hey, I can try it myself" I think I need a break anyway.

Good luck to you. It works wonders.
