I just started taking phen. sat. the 18th and on monday my nose turnes red like it was sunburnt. I did not think to much of it. Well on Tuesday my whole face was bright red and my arms were spotted. I called my doctor and he said that was not a normal side effect and to stopr taking it. anyone else!!!!

To go along with my previous message. It was not my bloodpressure, because my doctor told me to get someone to check it. It was not high. My face also burned along with being red. Is this common or a allgeric reaction. I am assumning that this is an allergic reaction. I would really appreciate some advice. Thanks

You poor girl! I'd say you had an allergic reaction to the phentermine. Some people experience an allergic reaction called Urticaria (hives). I don't know if this is what you experienced. Has this ever happened to you before? Urticaria can also be brought on by exercise, emotional stress, or any activity that causes sweating. Check with your doctor if you think something besides the phentermine could be causing your allergic reaction. If it is the phentermine you'll keep having the reaction.

My nose turned red when I first started
taking Phentermine. After about a week the
redness went away and hasn't came back. I
havn't had any other problems.

Jennifer. You definately had an allergic reaction. It is identical to the one that I had when i had to take morphine after surgery. I had a sun burnt effect all over my face. The day it even began to peel. It hurt like a sun burn as well. Hope this helps

The only MAJOR side effect I have experienced while taking this is a dry mouth. I have to have a drink around me all of the time. Anyone else having this one??

I started taking Phentermine July 1st 1999 and ever since that day I have had a 1/2 gallon thermos with me every where I go. I just got off the pill two weeks ago. We want to have another baby so the risks were too high being on it. I lost total 65lbs but the last week has been the hardest. I cant seem to stop the cravings. I want on really bad but $100 a month is just too high right now. I went to eprescribe but they don't let you order if you are from ohio. Anyone have any suggestions?
I loved the fact that chocolate didn't appeal to me.

I just started taking Phen 2 1/2-3 wks ago.The first week I had no problems what so ever. I lost 9lbs! Towards the end of the 2nd wk (after 12lbs lost) I started to get the red face, and I mean red, swollen, like 3 times the size of what my face should be. My face also broke out in this rash like pimples. I can't pop them, they are more like a rash, and my face is sooooo terribly sore to the touch. And just recently today, I noticed they are starting on my arms. I don't understand why I didn't have this reaction when I first started taking this and almost 3 wks later is when these side effects have started.
And, my face seems to go down in size and redness, then out of the blue it starts again. It started on Thanksgiving, and then it started to go down the day before yesterday and then today 12/1 at a little past midnight, it started getting red, and swollen again, as well as the sore/tingling feeling.

I am taking 37.5 mg. I didn't know if I should begin to cut the tablet in half or what I should do, I'm not sure if I am getting sick because my ears hurt too, but that didn't start until this did, so I am unsure if it is related. Please let me know! I need as much information as I can get!

Yea it sounds like u all are having some bad reactions and the best advice u can get would be from ur docters! I no sometimes the reactions dont start until after the phen is in your system for a while.....but yea i would really talk with thr dr about this one.....god luck and i hope everything works out for the both of u.....keep us updated on what happens ok?
