Unhappy
I have been using Xenical for the last 20 days. Things went fine, but now...I missed my period (its like 15 days late now).
Also, I think I have vaginal inflammation and urinary tract infection. Is this normal?? Has anyone experienced this? Should I stop taking the medication?

I'd call my doctor first thing in the morning and find out. It might not even be connected to your meds, is it possible you are pregnant? If not then maybe you just have a UTI a bladder infection or something, but I'd still call my doctor to be on the safe side. Hope everything works out for you!

Ok I am not pregnant. and the Doctor said that there is no infection of any sort. You think I should stop using Xenical now that it caused my period to skip?

No, I don't see how Xenical would stop your period. It's a fat blocker, so that shouldn't have anything to do with your reproductive organs. You should really ask your doctors advice on this matter, just call the office and explain the situation and have the nurse ask him. Quick, easy and then your mind will be at ease.Have a great weekend!

If you're not consuming enough calories, your body may stop menstruating. This is common among gymnasts and people with eating disorders. Then again, that message was from a month ago!
