Xenical and Phen not working?

I hate losing weight, really I do! I have just started taking Xenical and Phen together (about 1 week), but I have had nothing from Xenical. Like no oily BMs or gas, if anything I am more constipated. Any suggestions?

I was on xenical alone for one month. I had the oily discharge and yuky side-effects from it but I lost 8lbs that month. I then added phen and the oily discharge from xenical stopped. I put back on 4lbs.
i tried researching online for any explanation. I couldn't find anything as to why phen stopped the xenical from working.
I quit the phen last week and am still on xenical and the xenical is working again. very weird.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Wow that is strange, but now it seems the Xen is working. I have gotten the oily discharge a couple of times, not that I want it, but then I know it is working.

I was taking xenical some time ago and found it worked very well,infact too well and thats why i stopped.You know what i mean it was way to messy at times but then i guess the idea is to eat a lower fat meal so the side effects are not as bad!
My point is that when i first started taking it i stuck to a really low fat diet as my Doctor had told me and i think i went to extremes and there was not enough fat in the food for the pill to bind to...hence no oily loss and this actually gave me constipation for a while

Im guessing the pill has a chalk like affect and if there is to little fat there to soak it up i can see it would cause a dryness which could account for some constipation.
I have not taken it with phen though but im sure someone can explain why it would not work together

I am about to start taking them both the beginning of the next week I have been on phen since November and my doctor is adding Xenical in hopes it will help me loose more weight! I have lost 24lbs since November on phen alone and I feel great just want to loose a bit more and quicker!

Actually, you're the other way around. The Xenical is stopping the phentermine from working. You see, when taking Xenical it's advised to take vitamins/suppliments at night time, since Xenical inhibits the absorbtion of these as well. Phentermine is no exception. Xenical blocks the absorbtion of phentermine and it is simply passed through with little to no effect.

Phentermine is a great product if used correctly, as is xenical; however, both should more than likely not be used in combination. Consult your doctor for a second opinion.
