Menus offer inspiration when we're unfocused. I thought I'd start a new thread for them, though - the folks in the main forum probably don't want to see the Atkins thread floating to the top all the time. LOL!

So here's what I had yesterday:

Breakfast
Cheeseburger with bleu cheese dressing
2 deviled egg halves

Lunch
small pile of turkey
2 thick slices provolone
2 deviled egg halves (can't get enough of these lately!)

Snack
Cookies n Creme Atkins bar

Dinner
4 Italian sausages
green peppers pan roasted in olive oil
melted provolone over the top (mmmmm!)
TGIF's artichoke & spinach side
Gerry
...

...
The electricity used by this hand dryer comes from precious FOSSIL FUELS and dangerous NUCLEAR power. Tell the manager you want paper towels, which are renewable, recyclable, and far better for the environment.

Some of the things we are eating are suppose to be eaten during the maintenance stage. The induction stage is strict. I can not help it !!!!

I went off the wagon....I haven't posted this anywhere else yet. I kept it within 60 minutes...like the book said.

I had nothing for breakfast.

I had 2 of McDonald's tiny double cheeseburgers, a handful of french fries and a couple of sips of the kid's Dr.Pepper...then I ordered one of their new strawberry banana shakes...had about five bites...it was nasty...threw it away...might have just been the sugar I detested.

Anyhow...I've not had anything since....but I'm considering quitting this whole thing...I don't see it doing me anygood.

The book addresses not getting into ketosis and still losing weight/inches

It does not address getting into ketosis and NOT losing weight...so I don't know what to do. I'm ready to throw in the towel. See my post in the challenge thread.

She's in ketosis, curlygirly, that's why she's so frustrated with no scale movement.

Thatch, look, you're closer to your goal than most of us. That means losing those last few pounds is going to take you longer and require harder work. There are advantages to low carbing that you've mentioned in your posts over the past couple of weeks, such as less fatigue due to blood sugar fluctuation. Focus on those positives. Sure, you're going to crave carbs now and then, but they aren't overwhelming, are they? Aren't they lessening with time?

Honey, you can't have come this far in your journey without some pretty large cajones. Hang in there and give it another two weeks. What's the harm in that, hmmm?

Now if I hear you whine one more time about this, I'm going to give you a swift kick in the patootie.

Oh, yeah, menus.

I had bacon and green pepper strips wrapped in a slice of provolone. Three meals worth. They hit the spot, for some reason. Then, thanks to Mentor Keew, I crammed a fistful of pepperoni slices in my face just before bed.

AND I moved from pink to purple last night, which made me feel pretty darned good. I'll wait until Monday to weigh, but I'm optimistic.

Oh Gerald...you're good for me!! You're message was so needed...though I continued to go off the diet last night...finally had my chocolate...I'm going to work hard to keep up low carbs...maybe not induction style...but still low...thanks for your support...I think with classes starting next week...fitness and conditioning is one of them...I might see some results.

Oh...I've been trying 6-7 months for these last few pounds...how long do I have to do this to lose the last of it??
