    Hi all -

I went to a B&B up in Canada on vacation and this was served one of the mornings. They served it with stewed raisins (raisins put in hot water and microwaved until they puff up) I just loved it and have since discovered that it's great roughage. Takes care of the constipation problems we sometimes have with the phen. Give it a try. I figured out the calories and if you cut it into 8 pieces, it's about 140 cals per slice.

    Beat: 1/4 C oil, 1/3 C Splenda and one egg. Then add 1/2 C 2% Milk.

Mix together: 1 1/2 C Oats (I use the quick cooking kind)
1 tsp baking powder, 1 pinch of salt

Combine all ingredients and pour into a cake pan.

    Bake at 350 for 30 - 35 minutes.

    Hi Marieg...

I just stumbled onto this receipe exchange the other day and this sounds like something I would like so I printed it out and am going to try it Saturday morning. Sounds like it would taste great with peaches or strawberries, too.

I'll let you know how it turns out.
    Karen
