    i get all my fruit serving for the day all in at once.

    about 3/4 to 1 cup of apple juice
    about 3/4 to 1 cup of plain fat free yogurt
    2 table spoons of wheat germ
    1 peeled banana (large)
    1 cup of frozen or fresh strawberries
    add some ice (about 1/2 to a full cup)
    and blend
    makes about 2 servings

    some days i change the fruit, depending what i have in my kitchen.
    some alternatives i do are:

    mango and banana
    blueberries and banana

    mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, sounds yummy!!!!! I have been trying to figure out how to make a smoothie. This is perfect.

    hey yall here is another smoothie recipe... all the cal info is located on the link

    Homemade Smoothies

    1 6oz. container of fat free yogurt (NOT FRUIT ON THE BOTTOM- way too much sugar).
    1 banana
    4 or 5 frozen strawberries
    3 or 4 icecubes
    1/4 cup 1% milk

    put the milk then the yogurt, the icecubes, the strawberries and then the banana (broken up) in a blender and mix. Enjoy!!!

    You can substitute any fruits you might like and if you feel a bit constipated (sp??) you can add a scoop of that metamucil if you want an orangey taste.
