Default Hi! just started on Phendimetrazine today!

After having two girls 10 and half months apart, i have been trying to lose the pregnancy weight for about a year with NO success. My doctor put me on Phendimetrazine and im also doing the B-12 shots. Hoping this will get me down to pre-pregnancy weight.

So far im loving the energy that it gives me, I feel like I can get A LOT done. Luckily I dont feel jittery. My doctor has me on a protein only diet for the first 5 days ( is that normal?) after that I can introduce fruits and vegetables into my diet.

Is Phendimetrazine better than Phentermine?

Any tips to stay on track would be appreciated. I'ts going to be a LONG 5 days !! lol

I am new to this forum as well and new to Phendimetrazine.....I took Phentermine several yrs ago to loose post pregnancy weight myself....It made me a little jittery sometimes but I had tons of energy and had very little appetite.... I dont know what the long term results would have been i was only on it about a month but I had lost somewhere around 12-15 ....well after going thru a couple of really tough yrs and gaing my weight back..... I took a trip to the diet dr. he prescribed me Phendimetrazine.... I started taking the pills on monday so i am still waiting to see if they are going to help.....I can say that I don't feel like they are as strong compared to the Phentermine I was on in the past.....I will let you know.....lets keep this thread going there isnt as much info on her or people talking about Phendimetrzine as the reg Phen....Good Luck

I've been on Phen-d for four weeks. I've lost 13 lbs. I was on a low carb high protein diet too. It has been working for me. Two things to watch for: I am never hungry so I sometimes don't eat enough, this slows my weight loss down. Make sure you get enough excercise.

Thanx everyone , I feel I found a place to keep me motivated and in track to my goal.

Soo, i have lost about 7 pounds so far. BUT its really hard to eat , I look at food and it can gross me out... is that normal? I've been drinking like a gallon and half of water a day because my mouth gets dry and i dont like the feeling LOL. I am walking like 3-4 miles a day because i have a lot of energy, but I dont think im eating enough... especially since im still on just proteins. sleep is kind of hard to get. I fall asleep but get up after a couple of hours. But besides that I am really liking all I am able to get done. Whereas before i tended to slump around.

Does anyone know why some get prescribed PhenT and others PhenD ? Is it something to do with their bodies or how much weight they want to lose? I think im going to ask the doctor when I go back on Wed.

Smile Hi there

I'm no great person to be giving advise since I keep falling off the marygo round myself

BUT!!!

I went to a new weightloss clinic yesterday and the doc also prescribed the same meds you are taking and also gave me ALOT OF education on food and what to eat and what not to eat.. AND YOU MUST EAT!!! LOL.. I liked them! Wish I lived in the same city though.

Anyways..

I was told 1200 calories a day should work for the majority. It is in the middle, not too much and not too little. Believe it or not if you do not eat while on the meds, shortly after you quit taking the meds then you are more then likely to rebound because you trained your body to not eat, and goes to starvation mode and wants and craves all the things you don't eat. It was weird and I was convinced!!!

I can feel you on the getting grossed out when even the thought of food makes you like ewww... But it is important to eat. Try to stay away from white breads, try switching to whole grains and wheat bread.

I'm soooo going to try this, and hope that I can work it out...

They told me it is important to eat breakfast and eat during the day...

Eat every two hours and drink at least an 8oz glass of water with each meal from the time you wake up till 6 o'clock, thereafter don't eat anything, your body is most likely just thirsty.

We often confuse hunger with thirst because we have food all around us, magazines, books, tv that advertise food constantly and causes the eyes to send messages to the brain that you are hungry when really you are just thirsty.

Anyhow, I found this girl on youtube also the night before I went to the clinic and this lady ate at 6am, 8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, and then again at 6pm. She looked absolutly amazing. She was not on phen or shots just doing her own thing and posted practically every day for a year. I was completely floored because everything she said in the youtube videos is everything I heard at the clinic, so now I am wondering if maybe she was on the meds and the shots and just didn't reveal that much???!!! I dunno. I will give her the benefit of the doubt.

Well I hope this helps you out hun.

Take care.

Thanks for advice, I've been making myself eat even if i dont want to. I cant wait one more day when I'm done with the protein only phase, and I at least can eat some fruits and vegetables. I think its a good idea for me to try to eat something every couple of hours instead of the 3 meals that I have been doing. Im gonna start doing that tomorrow and still drink at least a gallon of water. Let me know how yours goes.

Eating just protein helps boost weight loss... forces the body to use stored fat as fuel instead of the carbs you're eating.... Plus it is more difficult to digest and stays in your stomach longer which burns energy and keeps you satisfied

Hello there! I am on the same diet plan the first 3-5 days are awful! BUT after that there are a ton more options and you never have to do the silly ketosis thing again!!! As far as the phenT and phenD issue- my doc let me try both a few years ago my first time thru and although the once a day dose was much much easier... taking the lower dose several times a day had a much better effect-for me. It seems to be the common belief that the side effects fade in time. Again, for me, they did not. An OTC sleep aid and "easy go" product were two of my very good friends. As notes by the others, you HAVE to eat. I know its hard, it is for me too. But I just have many different options at my disposal... turkey bacon for bfast or snack, salad for midnight snack, S/F jello for lunch--- you get the jist. I eat when I think about it, even if it makes me gag. Hope this helps, we are here if you need, don't hesitate
