I'm no great person to be giving advise since I keep falling off the marygo round myself
BUT!!!
I went to a new weightloss clinic yesterday and the doc also prescribed the same meds you are taking and also gave me ALOT OF education on food and what to eat and what not to eat.. AND YOU MUST EAT!!! LOL.. I liked them! Wish I lived in the same city though.
Anyways..
I was told 1200 calories a day should work for the majority. It is in the middle, not too much and not too little. Believe it or not if you do not eat while on the meds, shortly after you quit taking the meds then you are more then likely to rebound because you trained your body to not eat, and goes to starvation mode and wants and craves all the things you don't eat. It was weird and I was convinced!!!
I can feel you on the getting grossed out when even the thought of food makes you like ewww... But it is important to eat. Try to stay away from white breads, try switching to whole grains and wheat bread.
I'm soooo going to try this, and hope that I can work it out...
They told me it is important to eat breakfast and eat during the day...
Eat every two hours and drink at least an 8oz glass of water with each meal from the time you wake up till 6 o'clock, thereafter don't eat anything, your body is most likely just thirsty.
We often confuse hunger with thirst because we have food all around us, magazines, books, tv that advertise food constantly and causes the eyes to send messages to the brain that you are hungry when really you are just thirsty.
Anyhow, I found this girl on youtube also the night before I went to the clinic and this lady ate at 6am, 8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, and then again at 6pm. She looked absolutly amazing. She was not on phen or shots just doing her own thing and posted practically every day for a year. I was completely floored because everything she said in the youtube videos is everything I heard at the clinic, so now I am wondering if maybe she was on the meds and the shots and just didn't reveal that much???!!! I dunno. I will give her the benefit of the doubt.
Well I hope this helps you out hun.
Take care.
