    Default SLOW progression

I started 2 weeks ago, and I've only lost 3 lbs.
I know that this is considered to be a normal/healthy weightloss, but everyone else one here is losing like 10 lbs the first week!

I dont eat that much, but i do eat 3 times a day. maybe boiled egg or a small bowl of cereal for breakfest. salad for lunch, and maybe a lean cuisine for dinner.
I do Turbo Jam Cardio Party for 45 mins every day, and maybe bodysculpt 2 days out of the week.

I DO need to increase my water intake.
How big does water intake play in all this? As well as exercise? because I read someone saying that you can't work out too hard while taking Phen D because you won't lose the weight.

    Any clarification would be appreciated!

Is this pill just not working for me?

Water plays a crucial role in weight loss! It will continually help flush out your system. Just think of it as the more water you drink, the less you retain. I don't know if you can exercise too much. I would stay away from carbs as much as possible. Other than that it sounds like you're doing everything right. Just keep up the good work and allow your body to lose it at it's own speed because everyone is different. Don't get too hung up on numbers because a lot of people on here are starting at a much higher weight than you are, so it's normal that your numbers are smaller. If your clothes are fitting better and you're feeling good, that's a much better indication of how you're really doing. Best of luck to you!!

In 2008 I lost 91 pounds, but I've gained it all back... so here I am, at square one, but not for long.

    thanks guys

I'm trying to stay motivated! I know my body is leaner now than it was, and looks better in clothes. I guess I'm really psycho for just wanting it to reflect on the scale too!

I've started to drink 2 L of water a day. It's actually kind of hard to drink that much. I'm in the bathroom every 20 mins peeing it all out. (small bladder)

But I hope that would facilitate a faster weight loss.

    Thanks for your encouragements!!

    Chubs,
First off, you ought to change your handle! You won't be chubby for long...though, who am I to talk..I had a goal last year...
Anyway, I've been on phen d for four months and lost 20lbs. I am 10lbs from my goal. It is very slow. I don't think it works as well as phentermine, but my doc won't change it. I have cut back on carbs a lot, eating way less of them but not really dieting, I eat what I want, but more often than not, I make smart choices, like chicken and broccoli or a salad instead of a burger. But, if I am really craving something, I eat it. I ate a piece of cheesecake last week and a burger and fries for lunch. I can eat only half the burger and a few fries now anyway.
I drink lots of water and I work out, not as much as I should, but way more than I have ever in my life.
So, point is, I think it will likely be slower on Phen D than other drugs, but I think I will reach my goal and be able to stick there. I am not dieting - I have changed the way I eat and added working out, and I will have to do it forever.
Also, realize that you aren't that much overweight. So, it's harder to get off 10lbs when you are so close to your goal than when you are 100lbs from your goal, or at least that's what I'm told.
    Good luck to you!

    Just a quick update.

So It's been ONE month, since using phen-D and i've lost 7lbs.
People are starting to comment on the difference.
    Thats a motivator!
And yeah.. still exercising 5-6 days a week/drinking lots of water/eating fiber/eating WAY healthier than ever. and just RECENTLY started taking liquid b12 every day. Boy..that thing sure IS NASTY. I have to chase it with juice and hold my breath!

And so I've made some progress...7lbs down.. and 11 more to go!

Great! Most people loss the weight because they are heavier and the small changes they make have a faster effect but once you are around 160 or so it slows way down. Being as though my GOAL WEIGHT is 145 - you are doing great, Most likely you are toning up and losing inches!

so that's great your almost there! 11 pounds to go, I have 30 pounds and the frst ten is coming off fast but I am sure after that it will be slow, slow, slow. I will be so happy when i get to the 140's that is a huge goal for me and hoping to be there by the end of next month. Drinking a gallon of water a day really heped me.

More protein. You aren't eating enough food much less protein. With all the work you are doing aerobically, your body can't let you release the weight. Try minimeals. Proteins with each snack and with all meals. Also, those meals are convenient, but the sodium content is way too high. I heard that Michelina's Lean Gourmet have a better sodium count. I have beentold by the nurse at the weight loss clinic that I wasn't eating enough either. My loss has been slow as well, but slow and steady is better in the long run plus you have time to get adjusted to a new way of living so when there is no longer any phen to help. I admire how much work you are putting into your workouts. Try 3 egg whites plus 1 yolk for breakfast, oatmeal (not instant) with sweetner, butter buds, and some fruit, snack: deli sliced turkey or sliced chicken and fruit, water, lunch: grilled or baked chicken, salad, light dressing or drizzle of reg, lite drink, water, etc. 3 snacks and 3 meals a day is what they have me following. It is coming off slow compared to people who go tothe clinic and are losing 7 pounds a week. Typically, seems like the bigger a person is the faster they seem to lose. God Bless.

I am new to Phend, but I agree with the others, when you have less to lose to bgin with you will lose it more slowly.
