Is anyone else using phendimetrazine? This board seems a little unpopular. I've been using it for years and have had great results. Just recenlty tried phentermine and don't like it nearly as much.

I used it a few years back, and since then I have had a baby & put on some extra lbs that I am having the worst time ever getting off. Unfortunatally the doctor that prescribed them to me is no longer practicing & my current doctor has a natuarlist approach to weight loss and wont prscribe diet pills. They worked amazingly well and I want to use them now because I know they would work, but I dont know of any doctors in my area that will prescribe them. I live in Phoenix, AZ if you have any recomendations, or are you able to get them online without a prescription? I should probably post this as a forum, but I am a new user & cant figure out how!!!

Hi! I've been on it since Late November and lost 37 pounds and love it. I have no side effects that I did with Phentermine. They did offer to switch me to Dipro?? Anyone heard of this.
Take care Sara |

I am on phen-d. I was wondering why everyone on the other board had the reactions they did. Not much action over here, huh? Sorry, I've never heard of Dipro, but I can look in my PDR tonight and get back to you tomorrow. I'm still in a bad mood because I didn't lose any weight this week. More chatty later.

Hi Everyone! I have been taking Phendimetrazine (generic) 70 mg 3x a day since 2/13 and have lost a total of 21 lbs. It's been great for me in that it really suppresses my appetite and cravings and gives me great energy! I live in Tampa and go to Body Image Weight Management Center (Dr. Garcia). I weigh-in every week and am prescribed the Phen-D, fat burners, multivitamin, and get injections of B12, B6, and a combo one that has all sorts of good stuff in it! It's expensive but well worth it! I have been in ketosis (when you deprive the body of carbs so that it only burns off/gets its fuel from stored fat) since starting the program last month. I eat very few calories a day (maybe 700) and only protein (basically just meat and cheese). The multivitamin I am prescribed helps make up for any deficiency in my diet. Feeling & looking great! Jessie

Hi, I'm new here. I started taking Phen-D last Friday, March 30 and as of today I've lost 7lbs. Which I think is good for only 3 days. My current weight is 188.5 and I want to get down to 150 or 140. But, I'm 50 and I know it's harder to lose weight the older you get.

Welcome PS1956 and great job so far! Keep it up! How are you feeling? I have been taking Phen-D (since 2/13/07) and have lost 25 lbs. do far! I lost 10 of those lbs. in my first week (water weight)! I am 34 years old, 5'9" and my goal weight is about 155 lbs. I weighed in at 171 lbs. today from my starting weight of 196 lbs! So far so good! It gives me incredible energy and I am not hungry at all! I am also taking a fat burner daily and getting B12 & B6 injections weekly. i have been doing the protien-only diet and minimizing daily calories. Let me know if you have any questions! Good luck!

Hello all
I am brand new & getting ready to purchase Phendimetrazine. it's so encouraging reading you all's success stories. After 7 years of being overwieight after having my child, I'm so ready to get back down to where I need to be. I'm currently about 60 pounds overweight. But I wanted to ask...does anyone have any suggestions as far as a website I could go to...rather than goin got a doctors office?

I wish I knew of a website that would sell Phen-D without a prescription but no such luck. I go to a weight loss clinic every week and get my medication filled then. To date I have lost 28 lbs. since 2/13. I have only about 10 more or so to go! You can do it! Good luck!

mipoo670~ hey sorry it took me so long to respond! But I don't check this very much, school is kicking my butt right now!!
Anyways Phentermine made me grind my teeth and it was time released and I didn't like that. It didn't give me the energy that phen-d does. And really I showed NO results. Phendimetrazine is definitley the way to go! (for me at least) everyone has totally different reactions to meds so what works for you is awesome. How are you doing on the phen? PS1956~ What is your calorie intake? When I started I immediately changed my diet. I do 1000-1100 calories a day (any less and your body goes into starvation mode!!) and the first week or 2 was awesome but since then it has been about 2-3 pounds a week, with some fluxuation (tom) Do you exercise? It is really hard but don't give up!!! Everyone else is doing awesome..congrats

In order to successfully lose the weight while taking the Phen-D you must eat only protein. That way your body will stay in ketosis and you will burn only the stored fat and not lean muscle. You can check to make sure you are in ketosis using Ketostix. If you want I will explain more. I have been taking the Phen-D and eating only protein (literally just eggs, cheese and meat - Atkins) since 2/13 and am down 28 lbs. so far. I am about 10-15 lbs. away from my ultimate goal weight. I am 5'9" and weight 168 lbs. I would love to get down to 155! Good luck!

Hi everyone
I just took my first Phen D pill today. Doc. gave it to me , 35 mg. once a day BUT I'm supposd to take 15 mg. of Phentermine before dinner as well. I'm not sure I want to do this. The Phen D gave me a boost but I didn't feel agitated like when I took Phen and my mouth wasn't as dry. Every time I go to this weight loss place I get some other kind of pill. I then look it up on the internet. SO far I was given different brands and doses of Phentermine, but when I went Tues. I was given the Phen D for afternoon and the Phentermine for dinner. I don't know if I want to continue with this, just venting is all. Good luck to everyone. If I seem to do better with Phen D then I'll stay on it for awhile, otherwise I'm just going back to these vitamin supplements I was using that seemed to give me a kick as well (but no side effects). |

I'm new and joined because i was taking Phendimetrazine. I went to Dr. Garcia's (Tampa)associate Dr. Lara in Clearwater from the end of April 2006 until the end of Nov. 2006 and lost 50lbs on the phendimetrazine 35mg dose. I loved it, no jitters,(b-12 shot helped i'm sure) and the protein and good carbs kept me healthy and satisfied. Also took my own multi-vitamin and the fat burners he prescribed.
Now i'm on my own, and worried about gaining the weight back. I know i can go on maintenance with Dr. Lara....and that leads me to my question. I don't want to take diet pills my whole life...those of you who've successfully kept your weight off, did you do it with just exercise and watching the calories, or are you taking an appetite suppressant? I'll be back in the routine of swimming every morning once the pool warms up a bit more, but currently my only exercise is walking our dog and cleaning my house. Thanks in advance for your fantastic forum, looking forward to getting to know everyone. |
