I'm a reporter in Maryland working on a story about bariatric surgeries -- mostly gastro bypass and lap band. Is there anyone, preferable from Maryland, that would be interested in talking about an experience, either good or bad? If so, please email. Thanks

Hey Daniel, I personally have not been through taht proceedure however, I have several close friends that have. All 6 of then look and feel wonderful..The only negative thing anyone had to say was about the protien that was to be taken right after the surgery. apparently a few of them did not do well w/the protien and had to have a special diet w/o it..
BTW ONe of my friend got preganant 4weeks after the surgery. The doc was really freaked out about it...She had a healthy baby girl and lost 80 lbs. the first year. The baby is now 7 mos old and Mommy and baby are doing just fine!!
