and i lost alot of weight. Its illegal here in TN so i had to drive allllllllll the way to alabama to get it..but it was cheap, the gas cost more and they worked awesomely

dont give up hope, I took them and lost around 50 lbs.....i like them actually better than phentermine, I just hated the long drive to Alabama
I wish they would legalize those here
The reason being(the dr that gave me the phentermine) is they dont want ppl to mix diet pills.

Hi! I just started taking phendimetrazine a few days ago- so far I'm really happy with it. Luckily it is not illegal in Illinois so I got it right from my doctor. I know this is an old thread so I don't even know if anyone will respond to this post, but just in case... how is phendimetrazine different from phentermine? Did you stick with the phendimetrazine, teddies? Have either of you had any success with it? Hope to hear from you!

I've been wondering how phendimetrazine and regular phen are different as well. I can't find info online (maybe I'm not looking hard enough). But if you build up a tolerance to one, can you switch to the other?

Im on phendimetrazine 105 for 3 1/2 weeks now. Lost 5 pounds in first 3 weeks. This is my first time taking any weight loss drug, so I dont know about the differnces in phentermine as compared to this one. Id like to hear from someone who does Or any drug combinations.

Im in Alabama and got mine from my reg family doctor. He told me this drug would give me results with less side effects as I have a bit of anxiety and occasionally take Xanax for sleep and just to chill.

It doenst seem as popular as phentermine im not sure if it is price, side effects or effectiveness??? This drug is working for me as I just totally have no appetite! Am drinking about a third of my nutrition just to get enough calories everyday. I have grea energy on it too. I take it early am because I cant sleep if I take it too late in the morning.

Id love to hear from anyone who is on it and thier successes

the difference between phentermine and phendimetrazine is phentermine is in a capsule and phendimetrazine is in pill form. They are pretty much the same thing. Wish me luck I moved to new york city for a job and i am going home for the first time july 28th...I have lost 23 lbs. I want to lose at least another 10 -15 lbs befor then.....

if there is no difference in the two pills, why are some people more successful on one when they weren't on the other? I personally have never heard of phendimetrazine.

I take phendimetrazine 35mg at 4pm and phentermine 37.5 mg at 11 am and the combination of the two give me great results. I have been seeing a weight loss dr. who prescribes them to me. Their is a difference between the two. Phendimetrazine is a generic form of bontril and phentermine is a generic form of fastin and adpiex, I believe. The first week and a half that I have been back on the pills, I have lost 18lbs.

evreyones body is different...I tried adipex before i started using phentermine. Ihad no results with adipex(only 5 lbs). I have lost 23 lbs. on phen. My doctor told me the difference was the pill vs.capsule. Adipex is a much higher dosage than phentermine.

I will be starting Phendimetrazine 35s on Sunday, because I was having insomnia and b****iness problems that just wouldn't go away and I didn't want to take sleeping pills. Also, it seemed that the phentermine was losing some of its effectness after 1 1/2 months. At my diet clinic, I can have either the phentermine or the phendimetrazine, but not both.

I took Bontril back in '92 after the birth of my 3rd child and from what I remember...it didn't take long to lose the weight. Maybe 4-5 months for around 50-60lbs.

I was told to take the phendimetrazine 30 minutes to an hour before each meal. Anyone else take it like this? I can't remember the dosage I took in '92. As a matter of fact, I didn't even realize they were in the same class of drugs. I thought Bontril was one of the "old" diet pills that they don't prescribe anymore. Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I still have 50lbs to lose.

I also agree with nadia about everyone's body reacting differently to the effects of phendimetrazine and any other diet pill for that matter. I take the 37.5 phentermine hcl (adipex) one hour before eating (11am) and the phendimetrazine 35mg (bontril) at 4pm and I usually am not humgry by that time of the day. I also take furosemide(lasix) daily.

Mindy74 - Do you feel different when you take the Phendimetrazine than when you take the Phentermine?
I just started the phendimetrazine this morning and I noticed it didn't take away my hunger like the phentermine and I don't feel the nervous energy like the phentermine gave me.
Hopefully, my body will adjust and I'll do great on it.

I wish I could take both, but the clinic won't do that and I probably wouldn't eat again. LOL
