I have a feeling Bontril is stronger than phentermine, whether it is more effective or not depends on how your body reacts to it.

I have lost weight with both, Phentermin and Phendimetrazine/Bontril. The above post states it correctly, I think it is just the way the body reacts to the meds. Some may do better on either one! The generic brand and brand name, so it is just mostly money on the products name that is different, you can basicly get the same strength and time released as well! just listen to your body!
The slowing of weight loss or when you feel it is not working, wait a few weeks and start on the phen, switch off!
Then you will know how your body reacts to each, but I dont think anyone should ever take them together, but I am not the doctor!

Hi! I'm new to this site so I hope I can help. I have taken phentermine b4 and have just started with the bontril. They are both appetite suppresants and energy enhancers, but I've found the phentermine kills the appetite better and the bontril gives me more energy. When taking the phentermine my appetite was pretty much nonexistant, which sounds like a good thing,but I couldn't even finish a slimfast half the time, which meant I had little energy for excercise. With the bontril, I'm hoping to do the slimfast plan and I have tremendous energy to workout. I'm thinking this will be better for me cuz then if I stop taking it, I will have a better eating plan and excercise routine to help keep the weight off. I hope this helps!!

Phentermine is more addictive i think but works better than bontril
