Hi Carrie and Jane!! I'm from Missouri too. I haven't got a script yet but I'm supposed to go to the Dr. next Tuesday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!!! A girl that I work with is taking phentrmine and she lost 20 pds. I'm going to go to the same Dr she went to and see if I can get a prescription also. Carrie ---I think you should feel good about yourself for just taking the iniative and trying to do something for yourself. I'm sorry your husband isn't supportive but it looks to me like you can get all kinds of support from this site!!! Is it too much to ask where in Mo. you guys are?? Hi BusyChic!! I did find a Dr and I did get my script. At first it made me feel a little funny but now I'm ok. I've been on for 2 or 3 weeks and I think I've lost a couple of pds. My scale is completely crazy so I don't trust it. I can weigh myself and go back 20 minutes later and I've lost 2 pds.

As much as I like that it shows I've lost weight I think maybe I should be a little suspicious.

Anyway==I go back to the Dr June 5 so we'll see.

Hi Bella25!! It's nice to find people from Mo. on the board. Are you taking phen and if you are are you having good results? I've been on for a little more than a month and at my 30 day check in I had lost 12 pds. If I would apply myself a little more I think I could do better. Were in Mo do you live--if you don't feel comfortable answering you don't have to. You probably saw that I live in Sprfld.

Hey, I am from KC and just got put on this med from my doc. I have had a problem losing weight from just doing Weight watchers so he thought this would give me a good jumpstart. So far, I have lost 8 pounds in a week 1/2. Glad to know that there are others out there just like me.

Hi there. Congratulations on the 8 pounds!! I'm not from Missouri but my husband is and so is his family. They all live in Springfield.
We live in Michigan. I have been battling a 50 lb bulge for a long time now. I went to my doc and I asked her for something. She put me on Phentermine. I hope it works. Its only been 5 days so we'll see. I've been exercising everyday(walking 3 miles) and I will start doing abs rolls again. If I can find my ab roller. I put it in the garage and now I can't find it. Good luck with your weight loss Its sounds like you have a great start.

WHAT A BUMMER! I didn't have any trouble when I lived in Kansas. Anyone know of a Doctor in this area that is not against prescribing phen? Some doctors are very hesistant but I need to lose some baby weight. I just had a baby. I would appreciate it if anyone in the Kansas City metro area would let me know of a dr. they see regulary. Hi I'm from Missouri too. I live in Joplin. There's a lot of Dr.'s here who prescribe it. One of the dr's specializes in it. His visit is $50, that includes the 30 day supply and visit.

Hello all, I too am from Missouri (Trenton). I have been taking phentermine for just a lil' over a month, and I have shed 15.5# I know what some of you mean about doctors not wanting to prescribe this medication. I went to my family doctor, and she said "absolutley not" but a friend of mine were talking one day, and I was telling her that I had seeked doctors help about the prescription drug (phentermine) and she said "oh your kidding? I take that..so she recommended I go see her doctor, and sure enough I did. And I like the results that I am seeing. The only downfall to this med is that I have dry mouth, and profuse sweating at times, but I can live with that, as long as this helps me acheive my goal.

Hello!! I am from Springfield, Missouri. Dr. that I have dealt with that are really easy to talk to and is willing to help is Dr. Kristen Glover (who is Great!) She is no longer my dr, because of Network, but she is wonderful. The other Dr.'s in Springfield, some not all, are not very easy to work with to get phen.

Anyone around here from south kansas city,mo area?I am about 1 an d a half hours from joplin also .It is nice to see so many from Missouri.I have tried talking to my doctor but he don't want to prescribe phen.I am 39, 5'4 , and weigh 245 and can't beleive that if there are so many doctors that do prescribe it than i am upset that i ahve one that will not.I can't just doctor shop until i find one due to the cost iof a doctors visit.If there are any docs that any of you would like to share names with please let me know.Iam getting desperate and tired of being big and just gaining and my clothes not fitting.Sorry for venting but it gets aggravating when you need halp and your doctor won't listen.

Im originaly from Independence. Grew up there and most all my family lives around KC. I'll see if I cant find out any other physicians for you. For those of you who live in St. Louis, I used to work for Dr. Marlou Davis. He specializes in weight loss. Not sure if he's still in business or not. Used to have several offices. You all can buy Alli online right now. Goes well with phen. Makes you watch everything you eat!!! If you dont, you will pay for it on the toilet. I used to take Xenical. Also, for those of you who cant get a doctor to prescribe phen, and can tolerate ephedra, I just tried Stime**-ES and boy does it work!!! Impressive. You can log onto the web site, just google the name and it takes you there. If I find out anything else I will let you all know. Good Luck to all. I've lost 16 lbs now, unfortunately, I put on 4 lbs and all you women can probably figure out why. Aaaargh!!!!

Hello everyone, im a late starter to a old thread too but hope its not to late, I live in rolla missouri o=bout 2 hours from springfield, i have got a 1 month supply to take and have yet t ostart it but because i am not way overweight i cant get no more, can i get a name of a docter who will be willing to prescribe me atleast one more month if i can show my dated journal with my food intake and workout so i can show i am putting fourth the effort? Please help if you can ill travel to springfield if i must thanks Liz

I'm from St. Louis; I saw Marlou Davis many years ago, and he prescribed the drug for me. I had great success with it. (I do not believe Dr. Davis can prescribe medications any longer, though I could be mistaken.)

Years have passed, and I need to drop some pounds again--at least about 30. But I'm having the damndest time finding a place to get Phen anymore. I miss the days when it could be safely ordered online... If anyone has a valid link or a decent doctor to refer, I would much appreciate it...

I am brand spankin new. I am looking for a doctor that prescribes in KS/MO, I'm also looking for a buddy.

I have a friend that gets her scripts from an OB, however I can't switch to him because he is out of network. If anyone wants his info PM me.

If anyone has a regular family doctor let me know. I don't want to use Phen as a crutch but a good start.

Dr. that I have dealt with that are really easy to talk to and is willing to help is Dr. Kristen Glover (who is Great!) She is no longer my dr, because of Network, but she is wonderful. The other Dr.'s in Springfield, some not all, are not very easy to work with to get phen. __________________ Dyn2lose

wrmc4 Phen Newbie Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: south kansas city,missouri Posts: 1 Lost Weight: 0lbs Current Weight: 245 wrmc4's Photos	Anyone around here from south kansas city,mo area?I am about 1 an d a half hours from joplin also .It is nice to see so many from Missouri.I have tried talking to my doctor but he don't want to prescribe phen.I am 39, 5'4 , and weigh 245 and can't beleive that if there are so many doctors that do prescribe it than i am upset that i ahve one that will not.I can't just doctor shop until i find one due to the cost iof a doctors visit.If there are any docs that any of you would like to share names with please let me know.Iam getting desperate and tired of being big and just gaining and my clothes not fitting.Sorry for venting but it gets aggravating when you need halp and your doctor won't listen.

Grew up there and most all my family lives around KC. I'll see if I cant find out any other physicians for you. For those of you who live in St. Louis, I used to work for Dr. Marlou Davis. He specializes in weight loss. Not sure if he's still in business or not. Used to have several offices. You all can buy Alli online right now. Goes well with phen. Makes you watch everything you eat!!! If you dont, you will pay for it on the toilet. I used to take Xenical. Also, for those of you who cant get a doctor to prescribe phen, and can tolerate ephedra, I just tried Stime**-ES and boy does it work!!! Impressive. You can log onto the web site, just google the name and it takes you there. If I find out anything else I will let you all know. Good Luck to all. I had great success with it. (I do not believe Dr. Davis can prescribe medications any longer, though I could be mistaken.) Years have passed, and I need to drop some pounds again--at least about 30. But I'm having the damndest time finding a place to get Phen anymore. I miss the days when it could be safely ordered online... If anyone has a valid link or a decent doctor to refer, I would much appreciate it... Z

I am looking for a doctor that prescribes in KS/MO, I'm also looking for a buddy. I have a friend that gets her scripts from an OB, however I can't switch to him because he is out of network. If anyone wants his info PM me. If anyone has a regular family doctor let me know. I don't want to use Phen as a crutch but a good start.
