Ok we are almost thru week 2 here. I am doing pretty good. Each week Im focusing on one thing and making that change. This week is eating. I have the water thing down now. This week Im concentrating on adding more fruits and veggies to my eating. Im doing pretty well. When I got the late night hungries last night I grabbed an apple. I have been eating berries for breakfast and bought naners and watermelon today. Im trying to eat one serving of fruit or veggie with every meal or use fruit for my snacks.

I have heard from a few of you how you are doing but some are not reporting! I know we are all busy but even if you can pop in and update once a week. If you are having a bad week, let us know! We can help kick you back if you need.

The cruise is only 6 months 23 days away! To put that into perspective.. We started planning phencruise 2003 5 months ago! Yep 5 months have already passed. So remember how fast time is going to fly.

Another way to realize how fast it is going.. for those of you around a year ago.. in a mere 3 weeks I will be having my one year anniversary! Yep married almost a year already! Whew time is zooming along. So lets get in gear.

If you would like I can go thru and put all the goals up again so you can get back on track.

Hi Cruisers,

Well..this is my day 4 since I started late, I'm doing good so far..my legs feel like they were steamrolled from my lowerbody work out yesterday.

Keep it up...we'll be some seriously hot cruisers!

Hi!
I'm here. It's been a weird week for me. Quit my job Monday...I felt so unappreciated and obviously I was as my boss's reaction was to say "Okey dokey, bye." and then walk away.

Interviewed for another job yesterday but not sure I really want it. Definitely need the bucks for the cruise but I'm having too much fun working on my website for my art business and completing a couple orders for folks. And, quite honestly, I cannot work (even just the 4 hours a day) and do the art business too. Takes a huge toll on my health.

So it's Title V job vs own business. Let's see...5 orders a week = same as one week's pay at the Title V job. And that's figuring lowest priced items. So I am praying about this but think I will end up just devoting time to making my business a success.

All right! Enough about that. On to challenge stuff. Got some great exercise tapes at the library Tuesday. They are really good (get my heart rate into target zone and keep it there) workouts designed for all levels of fitness. Best part - they are done sitting down and virtually no impact on my bad knee.

I've been faithfully drinking my water.

Food, on the other hand...well, I tend to eat when stressed. But I have been making good choices most of the time. Mostly fruit, a little fat-free, sugar-free ice cream (Blue Bunny makes it sweetened with Splenda...so yummy!)
I have still managed to keep my calories pretty much in check for the week, despite the extra snacks and the pasta dinner Sunday night. So far I have a daily average of 1559. I have been striving for an average of 1500 or less so I'm not too far off.

Ellen you are doing great! Sypdie! Keep going girl. You know that now you cant take the subway and have to walk that 100 blocks, you are going to have killer thighs!

Ok what about everyone else?? Here we are almost finished another week and have not heard from the majority! Im going to have to email out a reminder! Of course I know a lot of them are in Nashville this weekend.

Happy Saturday Everyone!
Hope you are all doing well. I spent last evening looking at my niece's pix and a video of her cruise to Grand Cayman/Cozumel. She and her hubby went last week via Carnival to celebrate their ist anniversary.
Anyway, I am now more psyched than ever to go. October seems so far away.

ok...so 2 days ago I was all awesome and everthing about sticking to my plan...but low and behold life happens.

There are times when you fall off the wagon (or even slip) but I took a flying leap! I know I'll get back on track, but I feel UGH about the whole thing. Unfortunately having a tummy ache from all the crap I have eaten today doesn't make me more motivated to get back on the wagon..I just want to sleep.

Ok..theres my whining session for now, I'll touch base tomorrow and see where my mentality is.

Hi guys, hows everyone doing.. I did great all week than Thursday I munched on anything and everything. I'm not trying to place blame on anything but the war is really stressing me out.

I cancelled my plans for Nashville at the last minute and almost lost the money I paid for my airline ticket. However, after working with the airline and priceline I got it worked out.

I haven't been good today either. I ate toast with butter for breakfast (bad) and ham sandwich with BBQ chips for lunch then chicken and homemade fries for dinner........boy thats worse than I tought.LOL I had a couple of other items I wont even mention because they were really high in calories... Nitra I need you to kick me in the butt so I get back on track.

Ellen , you sound like your doing a good job of staying on target. I know what you mean about getting excited when looking at pictures of the cruise. It's going to be so much fun and I can't wait to meet everyone.

Katie , its ok to get off track just get right back on and don't let it get you down. Girl as much as you've been moving around you have every right to get stressed. Just get back on track and do that by taking baby steps and do them one day at a time.

Julie, Joline, Nitra you guys really helped me week andthanksfor being here for me. Thursday was a stressfull day and it continued on into the evening. I finally got the airline tickets changed to the June dates. It took being hung-up on 3 times and holding on the phone for 3 hours. The priceline employees were wonderful though and that itself made up for the time holding.
I did get all my exercise in for the week and hopefully the few screw ups with the food didn't hurt my weight loss to much. I'm getting really excited and know from last year how fast this time is going to go. We will be on that ship in no time and I want to be at goal.
Can't wait to cruise.
Are we there yet ???????????

Paula with as much as you work out your food was not that bad. You know that one day is not going to kill you! Now we are starting a new week so just forget last week and focus on now!

You guys are doing great.. Where is our fearless leader John? What about everyone else???

hey there! sorry Nitra - I promise to be better at posting for the challenge.

doing pretty good. Just got home from the gym - I've been everyday except one the last two weeks! One more week and I add on the weight training.

Food: great - doing well - no major slip-ups so far.

probably could drink more water - i'll concentrate on that this week.

weighed in this a.m. and even though i have pms - i've lost 4lbs in the two week span.

How's everyone one else doing?

it's probably a good thing i didn't go to nashville. i'm sick AGAIN! my head feels like it's going to explode. so needless to say the only thing i'm doing right is drinking my water. i bought a vaporiser with some methol stuff and it helps.

i am going to be a slim, trim, hotmama on the cruise but first i have to get all the bugs out my house i should own stock in lysol!

Hi everyone I can't believe its already Sunday afternoon.. my weekend goes so darn fast.

Nitra thanks for the pep talk I know your right and will try to remember that. I think the problem I have is that I know that I work out enough to maintain. However, what I want to lose a little more so I have to eat less and exercise more.

HOT I sure hate to here your feeling so bad and hope you get over it pretty soon. I know getting some nice weather helps around here. I hate being stuck inside my house....

Looking forward to hearing from everyone else where-ever they are.
