Its so hard to say right now because I couldn't get any flight info yet, its too early.

I would like to NOT get there the night before, 7 days away from home is going to be hard enough, I don't think I can make it 8. lol
BUT....On the other hand, I dont wanna push it, in case there are any delays.

Okay, lets do this, I would say, for me and hub, don't worry about us a room. If we decide we need to leave a day early, we'll just get one on our own.

Ok yall I have to sign this contract and get it back today! I need answers here! Here is the deal. I have 20 rooms right now. Once I sign this contract we have to fill at least 18 of those rooms or our rate will increase. I want to be sure we can fill those rooms. If we dont take the space once the contract is signed then I will have to pay for those 18 rooms out of my own pocket.

The hotel is Harbor House at Pier 21. This hotel is 2 blocks from where the ship docks. Without putting up pup tents in the terminal I cant get you much closer. It only has 39 rooms all handsomely decorated with designer fabrics, white washed oak furnishings, pickled wood floors, and Berber carpets

and we are taking 20 of those from inventory. Normally the rate is 135 a night but they are giving it to us for 99 a night based on 2 in the room. This will include

A daily complimentary continental breakfast
All rooms feature a sitting area and coffeemakers, and offer views looking toward beautiful Galveston Harbor
Located harborside on the site of an early Galveston steamship terminal, adjacent to the Strand Historic District, Texas Seaport Museum, the Tall Ship "Elissa," retail shops, boutiques, restaurants, and theatre
Signing privileges with established credit at local area restaurants, including: The Merchant Prince and Toujouse Bar in The Tremont House, Bernardo's and Club Galvez at The Hotel Galvez
30 miles of Galveston's famous beaches are a short trolley ride away
45 minutes from Houston's Hobby Airport
Pool use and signing privileges available at Hotel Galvez
Cable television with movie channels

Oh crap. I DON'T KNOW!!!

I'm still hoping that I or we can go, but I just can't say for sure this far out. We never know month to month what hub's income will be, so... I DON'T KNOW!! I'm trying not to get toooo excited about it, just in case I can't go. I want to go so so bad, but I can't commit to a hotel room right now (although they look wonderful!) I'm still kinda hoping hub will tell me to go ahead and go by myself and he'll stay home with the kiddos (in which case, that will open up another set of problems in trying to find a last-minute roommate), but who knows right now. That would be way more affordable than 2 of us going. Dumb airfare.

Ok gang here is what I need..

I have the rooms on block.. so I have to submit a rooming list with credit card guarantees. I need your credit card numbers if I dont have them! You can email them to me or let me know if you have an alternate one you want the hotel using. In order to lock in the rooms we have to guarantee we are staying there. I have only 15 rooms on hold. I lessened it so that we dont have to commit to so many.

The rates are as follows.. 99 for rooms with 2 people
119 if you are sleeping 3 in there
and 139 for 4 in the room

Ok so that will be the hotel done! I have a place picked out to eat too!! Ill get you that info later..
