Prices of various things on ship and other important info..

I have copies of some of the bar menus to give you an idea of prices. I also have the daily cruise compasses, for those that dont know, this is something you get every day on ship, it tells you the drink specials and all that is going on while on board. I have a sample list of the spa pricing but to be honest it really varies and its just for an idea of costs. I will be happy to email, scan etc these things. Anything else you may need for pricing too, for those trying to budget.

To give you some of the prices.
Photos range from like 6-20 dollars depending on size.
soft drinks are 1.50 plus 15 percent tip (1.73)
If you are a big soft drink person you can get a soft drink sticker for the week for like 30 dollars approx, it includes fountain drinks only and only coke, diet coke and sprite NO DR PEPPER!

As we get closer we will give you little tips on things we have learned.

If anyone wants they can email me info on how you want to pay and how much you are paying now. If you are using a CC please include name as on the card, the billing address, phone number.

I will need full names, addresses and phone numbers for everyone eventually. You can email me, preferred please! I have most of the info from previous cruisers.

If you are paying by money order or certified check, keep in mind that most debit cards work like CC now, I will give you the info soon on where to send the money order or cashiers check.

If you are flying in, cost from Houston George Bush airport is like 60 dollars round trip and from Houston Hobby it is about 50. I did a whole thread on this for the previous cruisers. I can bump it up if we need.

If anyone would like to just get their air and transfers thru the cruise line let me know but keep in mind they will fly you in day of cruise. If you are wanting to come in a day early they charge a deviation fee for this.

Boy do i have some questions for you.

Okay I would like to fly in the night before and party with y'all. Here's my deal I don't have credit cards.. strictly cash girl here (due to an a s s of and ex) Anyhow, so obviously I will be flying in, I need transportation from the airport, to the hotel we'll all be at, and then to the cruise, then back from cruise to the airport.

Also had questions about the cruise, can you buy or add in a package that is all inclusive?? I mean for meals and drinks? My cuZins went on one like that and said it was wonderful to have everything taken care of. Also I would like to go scuba divin and some other fun stuff on the cruise, so I'm a loner single girl, do we all get together and do these things too? Money is not an issue obviously right now for me, or soon won't be, but I want to pack as much fun into it as possible...

Ok on a ship all meals, even room service is included! If you want to pay for your shipboard purchases in cash that can be arranged. Everything can be paid in cash so dont sweat it! Your hotel will need to be guaranteed to a cc but once you get there you can tell them you will be paying in cash and give em the money! We will work it out so dont worry.

Any shore excursions, sometimes we do them together and sometimes we all do our own thing. It just depends on who wants to do what.

Key West we usually just hang out for a few hours, go to ship and eat, then go to Sloppy Joes and party.

Grand Cayman.. Ill be doing the stingray city snorkel! Gonna play with stingrays again!!! Totally cool trip!

Cozumel.. this is a special stop! Ill explain later.. LOL. Now here in the morning we do our thing, like beach, shop etc and in the afternoon meet at Carlos N Charlies, for those that want to, and party!! Some go off and do their own thing all day. Its really just whatever you want.

As you can tell we party alot.. LOL.

Dont be concerned if you want to do something that no one else wants to do. Just do it! There will be others from the ship on the same trip and you will not be a lone for long. The great thing about cruising! Well one of them anyway!

Maybe its a HOLLY thing?? I went on the cruise without a credit card, too. I paid cash for everything. I gave a deposit to charge all my onship expense to and my excursions.

I am not the partyier that the others are, so I did my own thing quite a bit. You'll find that even alone on the cruise, you're not alone! You begin to recognize others and talk like you know each other.

And, even if you think you're the only one who will want to do something, you'll be surprised to find at least one other who wants to do what you want, too!

The shuttle to the airport even took cash from me! People still use the green stuff!
