Khan, you are right, her life sounds like a complete mess. I don't think she's at alll well-suited for you. She lacks in morals, ideals, goals, and lifestyle. You would not be happy with her, nor would your family. It has nothing to do with the color of her skin. It is in how she was raised, how she perceives herself and the world around her.

I am a year older than her. I know the times she was raised in, the culture of her early years. It does not excuse her need to have a man in her life. She clearly cannot support herself and has not been motivated to seek higher education or improve her skill set to change her future.

Embracing a religion can be a very positive force in a person's life, but it may be temporary. She obviously felt a void in her life that needed to be filled. Perhaps she will find peace and purpose in it and her behavior will change. However, while people can change their behavior, but they can never, never change their CHARACTER. Take a look at hers and make your decision based on that and that alone.
