Hi all! I was just wondering if anyone knows what the difference between ephedrine hcl and phentermine hcl are? Or is it both the same thing? Thanks so much!! Brandy

Hi Brandy all I know about Ephedrin is it has been banned from the states for something like 25 years, so if you buy it online etc, you cant be too sure that is what you are buying i bought some few months back, it cost more than the phen and i had to take more pills than the phen had to take 2 in morning 1 at lunch and it done absoloutely nothing fro me! didnt take away my appetite and i didnt even lose a pound, ive been on phen now fore 5 days and have already lost 8 pounds!

They're 2 completely different things. Also, ephedrine is not banned in the US. Its just illegal for companies to market products containing ephedrine as "diet" pills. They can only market these products as bronchodilators (a kind of asthma med). It's perfectly legal to buy ephedrine over the counter anywhere in the US. There are limits to how many grams of ephedrine you can buy on a daily and monthly basis, that vary from state to state. If you buy it in bulk you may be suspected of making meth, but it's not illegal to buy ephedrine in and of itself. Its very widely available, and you can easily buy it online from reputable sites like drugstore.com. Rite Aid and CVS sell their non-prescription meds online solely through them. I would be wary of sites selling actual "diet" pills containing phen, but "asthma" products like Bronkaid (made by Bayer) are perfectly good sources of ephedrine. Just make sure the other active ingredients, if any, are only harmless decongestants. Usually ephedrine is taken as part of an EC stack.
