Anyone taking Lexapro? Anyone ever took Lexapro? Anyone know anyone tht has taken lexapro? What are the side effects? Does it effect Phen? Tell me any and everything you know.

I have taken Lexapro before I took Phen. I had taken Prozac and gained 20 lbs so I threw it out and they switch me to Effexor. That was evil and I got off of it. I went to Lexapro and it was fine , no side effects for me, I was on a low dose with no problems. I dont take it any more and I dont know about taking it with phen, you need to read up on it cause some of those say to not take them with it. I hope I helped some!

I'm on both...been just 4 days....but seems fine. Dr. said it would be ok.

Hi Wannaba6!

The first time I took phen I was on lexapro. It is actually the pure form of Zoloft. I think usually they say seratonin reuptake antidepressants work pretty well with phen. Like sometimes docs will prescribe prozac and phen as a combination pack cause some people lose weight with prozac. All meds don't work for everybody the same, like doxiegal said. I didn't have any side effects and I took them together for about 9 months!
