I am wondering if tenuate or didrex has the same punch as adipex..can't seem to get anyone to fill a non presciption adipex order right now...must be a shortage going on....

I've tried the generic 37.5 phen/adipex and it pales in comparision to the real adipex...I want something that has a KICK! LOL

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated!!!

The tenuate is nothing near the adipex! Keep looking for the Adipex!

I feel your pain but agree with the others that didrex ( I tried that) was no comparison to the adipex. It made me almost doped feeling - weird.

I would choose Adipex over Didrex.

Didrex does 'work' but the negatives are that in order to see 'results' comparable to that of Adipex you need to take (at least - talk to physician) 3 a day according to the prescribing info. Yes, 3 a day (so 90 day supply that is dispensed as 90 pills is a 30 day supply in reality).

The fact that it is 'supposed' to be 3 a day (not 1) is one reason people tend to be 'turned off' to Didrex (it will work rather poorly at 1 a day).

Didrex is expensive relative to Adipex or generics. This is especially true when you factor in the actual amount of Didrex you need to take a day.

I would only recommend it if you have built up a 'tolerance' to Adipex/other generic forms.

ie 1 month of Didrex at the recommended dose of 3/day will cost you >$200 (and often quite above that threshold) if you go the online route and is still more expensive if you fill a script locally.

I have tried Tenuate and it did absolutely nothing for me. I went back to Phen!

    Default Tenuate

I know all meds work differently for different people. Ive been on Tenuate for a month now....and it's done nothing for me. I went to a doc to try to get Phen the right way --- she put me on this crap. It gives me no energy and does almost nothing to help my appetiite I am starving all of the time (and still not loosing anything). I go back tomorrow -- if the doc doesn't give me Phen I'm going to quit going to her and see how else I can get Phen.

Just wanted to post this for anyway thinking of trying Tenuate.
