I just started Sibutramine yesterday. It has sunset yellow colouring in it, which I didn't realise until it arrived. I have had allergic reactions to that colouring in the past. I'll just take it one day at at time and see how I get on. I've just been taking phentermine A153 and it didn't seem to help much. I'll let you know how I get on.

    Thumbs up Meridia User

I have been on Meridia for only 2 weeks and lost 8 lbs. I have tried Phentermine in the past and had some weight loss but not as quickly as I've had with Meridia. My mom actually started on Phentermine after I went off of it and she is excelling past her weight loss goal ( her job is also constant moving, walking and physical lifting.) Phentermine made me EXTREMELY irritable. I would get so annoyed and frustrated at the stupidist things. My mom SAYS that is doesn't do that to her, but some of us around her beg to differ sometimes (especially her husband.) She has been on it for about 5 months and tried to ween off of it, but ended up back on it. I made the choice to stop taking Phentermine because I DO NOT want to be addicted to something. I need to know that I have control over what effects my body.
Also, I know you should exercise sometime in the day, but so far I haven't. I work long hours and then come home to cook supper, give my daughter a bath, clean the house up and do bed time stories. I do want to cut back on something so I can get at least a walk or some kind of exercise in, but right now it just isn't possible. I'm just telling you the truth so you know how Meridia can work for you, obviously if I incorporated some kind of excersie I would see even better results. I am not complaining though about the weight I have lost. I changed my eating habits. I don't do the "picking here and there" at foods anymore. I also start my day with a yogurt and somekind of fruit and water. Merdia has completely changed my desire for food. I used to want to eat all the time ( I think it was my favorite thing to do.) Now it's like...I eat because I know I have to have something in my body for nutrients but I definatly don't care to eat abunch of food at one time anymore like I used to. I would recommend Meridia for a lot of different reasons and actually I am supposed to be on anti-depressants, but from the beginning I have refused them from the dr. and this makes me not stress out over every little thing like I used to. It really makes you feel better. I could go on and on.. if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask.
