I started this drug for ADHD and I am surpised, that it works great for an appetite supressant.
Sadly Though I have not lost much weigha, that was not my main goal. I joined this forum looking for answers about phentermine, howvever I understand the tow should not be mixed.
I think I will make a consious effort and take advantage of the decreased appetite with the adderall.
    Any thoughts

I am taking 30mg of Adderal once a day, I have been told, not to take the two together, as they are both stimulants.

When I first started the Adderal I started with 10mg then slowly increased to 30mg,
I am just staring to feel the effect of appetite surpression from taking 30mg.

I have noticed that by taking Adderal my focus has become much better, and setting goals is now realistic.

I can now make a consius effort to plan meals while at am at work or away from home.

I try to pack a healthy lunch everyday and stay away from junk food, we mostly eat junk food because of improper planning right!

Don't wait till you are starving and you will find overeating is not a problem.

My solution is to eat slower and less food, wait to see if you are full, [example 1/2 sandwhich with small amount of baked chips or pretzels and an apple] you will be surprised as to how long this will fill you up for.

With that said my point is by taking the Adderal I think you will be able to now focus on losing weight as you will find simple planning not such an overwhelming task.

Taking any drug is not a miracle so take baby steps.

Step 1. Take a day or two to analyze what happens when you wait to long to eat? do you overeat? probally so now work on correcting that shortcoming by eating more often.

Next baby step. plan on making your new meals a little healthier each time.

You know yourself better than anyone and I am confident that you can come up with a plan that works.

Don't beat yourself up! you will see that life can have a new beginning.

Nothing has to be done overnight.

I take 40 mg of Adderall each day...I have for 6 years! I know that I can't take both, but I just feel like my body has built up a resistance to the appetite suppressant part of the drug. We'll see what happens!

I am sorry, I thought you had just started to take the drug, and I was trying to be encouraging.

I know from many failed attempts at dieting myself my biggest problem was improper meal planning, and waiting till I was starving before eating.

Just last night I ate too much at diner because I waited to long too eat.

However since I started taking Adderal my outlook on life seems so much more possitive and I feel like I can conquer anything. Maybe I am just kidding myself.

Oh well as the saying goes
    1 day at a time.

Do you get your prescription for Adderoll from your regular physician?? Or do you have to go to a special doctor for that?
