Ok I just read some info about it, and saw it does contain ephedra. I haven't tried it, but I just wanted to say that I lost a lot of weight with ephedra based pills before the ban. I lost 30 lbs in no time and got down to a pretty comfortable weight.

I'm not going back on phentermine again but I may try the lipodrene.

Just curious! I use to take Max Tens with ephedra, a long long time ago, and LOVED THEM!!

Lipodrene has been working great for me as well. I have been averaging a little over 3 pounds loss per week.

There are times however, where I will feel a bit jittery, but it doesn't occur all the time.

Does anyone know if the effects of ephedra wear off over time?

I havent felt jittery. There have been a couple of times where I take it and about 30 mins later get a little nauseated (sp??) but it only lasts a couple of mins.

I really like it, I just hate the taste. gotta take it with LOTS of fluid. :)

I forget how it goes, you take it before you eat, or is it after? I remember Chrisy you mentioned something about the directions on taking them. And is it one and then you increase to more a day?? Sorry for all the questions. I guess I can just go an google and do research!! But who wants to go and do all that!! LOL

Scorpio_girl - well lets see... I have been taking Lipodrene for about two weeks now. So in the last two weeks, I have lost about 6-8 pounds. I wanted to take a break from phen so that it doesn't wear off too quickly.

I have not "upped" my exercise routine. As a matter of fact, I have slacked up a little bit. The reason is because school just started here and I have been extremely busy. As far as eating... things have pretty much been the same. I write down everything I eat as well as the calories and there were just a few days I probably didn't eat enough (which is NOT good). I take the recommended dosage which is one pill an hour after breakfast, and one pill an hour after lunch. Sometimes I forget to take the one after lunch and I don't even realize it!

I'm happy with the results :D

Oh yeah Scorpio_girl! Don't take it too late in the day... You will DEFINITELY be up ALL night! One day I forgot to take it and remembered around 4 o'clock. So I took it! Like an idiot! LOL LESSON LEARNED!

Thanks so much VA I am excited to start tomorrow.WOW 6-8 pounds the first week,man I would be doing cartwheels (I can't really boobs too big lol)but that is half way to my goal!! Man I am psyched!!! I just got my Lipodrene today around lunchtime so I took one pill at around 12:30. I didn't feel jittery, couldn't even tell I had taken it. I read some posts that people were cutting their's in half and since I was at work and didn't have a knife (I tried to break with just my fingers but it didn't work) so I took the whole thing. I haven't noticed that it curbed my appetite, but like I said, I took it in the middle of the day and not in the morning.

We'll see how tomorrow goes.

My pills are yellow and say they contain 25 mg of ephedrine alkaloids. Is that what everyone else has??

Lipodrene should not be taken with Phen. It serves as an appetite suppressant containing mostly Ephedra, Hoodia, Caffeine, and 5-HTP. I'm back to taking it this week. I'm taking about 1/2 a pill one hour after breakfast and one hour after lunch. The bottle says to take one whole pill twice a day but that made me too jittery. I may work up to that. I think Lipodrene is good if you want to take a break from Phen but still need some help. I sleep fine with Lipodrene whereas the Phen may keep me up at night.

hey ladies how long after stopping phen did you start the lip? I am down to my last six pills of phen and thinking maybe since I had such good results with ephedra before that I will take that for a while since its Soooo much cheaper than my phen that i buy online. I dont want to have to many drugs in my system and die or something

I've been alternating the Phen and the Lipodrene. I took Phen over the weekend and then took Lipodrene Monday, Tuesday, and today. So, I don't really have a good comparison. For me, it definitely helps me control my appetite but not as well as Phen. I just want something to alternate with Phen to give myself a break. I took 1/2 pill this morning and another after lunch. I take a beta blocker for my blood pressure, so I really wanted to ease into the Lipodrene and see how I reacted first.

Well I took my 1st pill today and I didnt feel jittery or anything.It did help control my hunger,a bit too well.I forgot to eat lunch until it was 3:00,so I just ate something light.Tomorrow I will only take 1 pill again,and then try 1 after breakfast and 1/2 after lunch the day after that and see how that goes.OH BUT THE SMELL/TASTE UGHHHHHHHHH!!!! OH WELL NO PAIN NO GAIN~OR LOSS ;) !!! HAPPY LOSING CHICAS!!!!

Scorpio-- I warned ya! the taste/smell is awful!!! I dread it every morning. Im glad it curbed your appetite though!! This week at our weigh in on the challenge will be my first full week on it so I will see if I can tell a difference.

The ones I bought have 660 MG in them. THey are yellow octagonal shaped pills. If you think they taste bad as a whole pill, then be glad you don't have to cut them in half cause they smell worse I think! I've lsot 2.5 lbs this week (put on about 3 when I went on vacation), so it's working for me. I haven't taken Phen since last Saturday I think. Va. Beach Teacher - you do look great!
