Adipex vs. Didrex - HELP!!!

O.K. gang - this is what I'm facing: I've been prescribed 30 phentermine (37.5mg), using one per day. It's worked, as I've lost 20 pounds in 10 weeks. Well, it's time for me to reorder. Should I get Didrex? Well, from what I understand, it's recommended that you take 3 Didrex meds a day. The cost of 30 Adipex and 30 Didrex are nearly equal. To me, the most economic choise would be to stick with the Adipex (It's costing me about $100 for 30 count of Adipex, about the same for 30 Didrex). Now, I know phentermine.com is offering 90 Adipex for $175. I know that's a good deal. So, should I just stick with the Adipex, either get the 30 count, or if I can afford the 90 count, or should I switch to Didrex. I've read where Didrex is stronger, but I don't want to pay the same price for the same quantity if I'd have to take 3 Didrex a day compared to 1 Adipex. I just need some help from you dear friends. Should I order 30 Adipex; 90 Adipex (If I'm able to afford); or go ahead and get 30 Didrex. The only reason I'd get the Didrex is that I've heard they're stronger. Please advise, and I really appreciate your input. Thanks again.

my doctor prescribed mine and I went to the pharmacy and they said it wasn't covered by my insurance. I thought I was going to pay an arm and a leg, but end up only costing $40 at the local Walgreens for 30(37.5mg)

have you tried getting your doc to write you a script?

Going to a doctor is always the cheapest. #30, 37.5mg phentermine runs me $31 and #180, 35mg phendimetrazine costs $28.50. I have no insurace coverage, but be sure to check around at diferent pharmacies, as prices can differ greatly with diet drugs. The cost at Walgreens is roughly double that of what I pay at a local mom-and-pop pharmacy.

I've never tried Didrex but from what I understand its dosing is the same as phendimetrazine's, 3-6 tablets a day.

If phendimetrazine is cheaper you might might want to try that. I've had excellent luck with them. Lost 18 lbs. my first month and 100 in a year. I was taking 4-6 tablets a day. Stay away from the 105mg sustained release tables. They don't work as well. It's nice being able to talor your dose to as much or as little you need during the day.

have you tried wal-mart pharm.? because here its cheaper then walgreens i live in a twin city.. in one state its 24$ for 30ct.(37.5) and the other its like 28$ and walgreens would be over 30$ i thought about ordering from here but im going to the doc for mine right now but after i may reconsider :)
