phen & Synthroid

Is anyone taking phen and synthroid?
Any reactions?

I'm on Phen and synthroid. No reactions so far, but I'm only on day 4 of the Phen. But I'm not expecting any problems :) I'm only on a minimal dose of synthroid.. .05mg.

I also take synthroid (.112) and just started Phen yesterday. The doctor told me that this is not a problem if you are hypothyroid. They only seem concerned if your hyperthyroid. So far I haven't had any problems. Good Luck. :)

To all of you newbies welcome and let me fill you in on the latest with thyroid replacements and Phen. I just went to the doctor on Thursday after being on Phen for three months with 137 Levoxyl same as Synthroid basically just not synthetic, anyway, my levels before Phen where very Hypo, (11) now I am border line Hyper (-5). My doctor lowered my medicine to wean me down slowly to 125 and is concerned that the level change was so drastic. This would explain why I've felt so hyper and full of energy but at the same dizzy. I thought it was he Phen but apparently it was the thyroid trying to catch up. Just be caeful and stay closely monitored. Just to let you know I started my lower dose and I've felt funny all day, sorta disoriented. I have experienced side effects are you may think are the Phen when actually they are your thyroid reactig to the change. Rememeber the thyroid controls your metabolism and when you begin to eat less and become more active your metabolism changes automaically. So for me my levels changes quickly. Let me know how you all are doing, and lets stick together.
