What are the advantages or disadvantages of phentermine vs. ionamin, vs. adipex, etc. Do they all basically work the same?

Phentermine is supposed to be an appetite depressant, but frankly it's more of a metabolism booster. I've shed weight FAST when taking this and eating much, much, much more and less healthy food, than usual, when my weight is resistant to whatever restrictions I put on my diet.
