I've had both my knees operated on due to the damage carrying all this weight around has caused. During the summer I swam alot and it helped some. I do have meds for arthritis but don't take it because of all the meds I take already. I'm looking for something more natural....an exercise or herbal supplement....anything....it's getting so they hurt all the time and hinder my walking. I'm supposed to have a knee replacement on my left knee but am procrastinating. If I do it at my age the dr. said it may not last and I'd need another down the road. It has to do with activity level.
I took gluchosimine and MSM for a while but that was useless. I also was on Ultram for 2 years........ Celebrex, Relefen and Mobic alternately for over 15 years. Anyone have any suggestions or been through this? I really need some help, because my dr's solution is just to have the surgery and get it over with. I think (I hope ) I can do better then that. Thanks, Di |
