Asthma meds and Phen?

Hey Everyone , I was recently diagnosed with Ashtma and am on an Albuterol Inhailer , and the nebulizer treatments as needed , Does anyone take thier asthma meds in addition to Phentermine(Adipex) I am concerned as the inhailer is a "steroid"....I am also on Welbutrin XL if anyone has info on that as well..Thanks! Hi! I am a respiratory therapist and I just wanted you to know that the Corticosteriod that you are taking to keep your asthma under control is not the same as the steriods that athletes use. The meds that you are taking are VERY, VERY important and you should NEVER stop taking them. They are what keeps you from wheezing. The amount of weight that you may, and I do mean may, gain is minute. It takes years and years and years of taking this med before you even gain an ounce. If you stop taking it you will gain weight because your asthma will be out of control and therefore you will not be able to exersize because you'll be too busy trying to catch your breathe.
