I spent some time on DrNatura's web site. It's about intestinal cleaning and how it totally benefits your health. They have some pretty detailed accounts of what comes out of you. As gross as some of it is, it's compelling.
Then I googled to learn whether it's a myth and you aren't actually poooping the stuff you take. Bottom line - a little of both, but it makes you regular and we can all use more fiber. Even better - I found a way to do the program without spending all that money.
At the health store, get a jar of Sonne's #9 intestinal cleanser - or some other brand that contains psyllium husks as the main ingredient. Also, get some tea with senna as the main ingredient. There's a hokey brand called Slim Tea with an asian woman on the box.
In the morning, mix a heaping teaspoon with a little juice for flavor and a cup of cold water, Don't mix it with juice alone, trust me - it gets too thick and you gag. It doesn't taste bad at all, just slam it and move on with your day. You will feel a little full for an hour or so, but it won't make you go so don't worry about going to work.
In the evening, before bed, have a cup of the hot tea. Steep it for only 2-3 minutes at first so you can see how you react to it the next morning.
In the morning, after a cup of coffee, you will be sooooo happy. It's serious, but not explosive or crampy. Very healthy like when you were a kid. You will probably go twice. The first time, you'll think, ok, whatever, I went. The second time, you'll undestand what a healthy, fiberous pooop really is. It's heaven. You feel slimmer and lighter. Lead belly gone.
Believe me, I suffered for 3 weeks on phen before I sorted this out. Yes, I drink enough water and I eat lots of fiber-rich food. I tried dulcolax (ouch, cramps, and not quality output), fiber supplements (they did nothing), even a suppository one day (really pointless). I am telling you, I feel FANTASTIC. This is helping. Not only with regularity, but with weight loss (Dr Natura site will tell you about how the average person has 5-10 lbs of old hardened waste inside them). I can see my lower belly is shrinking and I've lost the "ache" and it's only been 3 days.
