    Question Hi I'm new, and a little scared

    Hi,
    I just started my diet on the 2nd of July, but I am a little scared due to the previous failed diet planes (and of course after reading the side affects to these pills lol) I'm wondering if anyone has had some big success from this.... like some major weight loss.. as I myself have a lot to lose, and this is my last chance to try to do it on my own, cause I really don't want to turn to surgery. Thanks

    Hi Susie,
    There's a lot of great success stories on this site, I'm sure you'll find them very inspirational. I started my lifestyle change on April 6 and I've currently lost 42 lbs. If your anything like me, once you start seeing results it will motivate you that much more. You can do this, Good Luck!!

    Susie,
    I think that a persons success is based on thier effort. If you want something bad enough, you will get it. Like Gummy said, it's a lifestyle change.
    I had Lap-Band in 1-2005. I was very successful and lost 80 pounds. I kept it off until I had some minor complications and had to have it emptied. Since, I haven't been able to find that spot again that suited my loss well. That slow and steady pace. I gained back 40 pounds. YACK. My doc put me on Phentermine to try to get that last 40 pounds off again. Surgery is often a bandaid on a bullet wound. After I looked at what made me overeat, it made it simpler to lose it. It takes time. Slow and steady wins the race. Really submerse your self into a healthier lifestyle and BELIEVE in yourself! It worked for me once and I am making it work again. Chin up!

    I am only three weeks on phen and I also was scared in the beginning. The second day on the phen I had a serious headache so bad it knocked me out.. I thought about giving up but I dealt with that problem and moved on... Each day I take whatever issue it might be and try not to freak myself out and push through. So far I have lost 9 pounds and I am not going to quit until all 90 are gone!!!! Hang in there and this website will help..

    Default I am new too

    Welcome, I started 8 days ago on Phen. I have lost 11 lb. I have not had any side effects. I feel really good. Have not found all the energy some of the people talk about but I am getting out to curves again. I do not feel hungry and my cravings are gone. I love sweets (I use to) but I have not had any candy or sweets since I started and do not miss it. I do have to plan my meals so I do not skip them.
    I just wished I would of found Phen years ago. It makes changing your life style a lot easier.

    I started Phen about 2 weeks ago so I can change my diet routine with a "crutch" and so far I have lost 7 lbs. The headaches, sleepless nights, and racing heartbeat were hard to get used to but i adjusted after 4 days and sleep through the night, the racing has slowed a bit but i still get the occasional headache (doctor told me it was dehydration) I have myself eating 5 times a day even if im not hungry and I removed red meat, use wheat flour/noodles/bread whenever possible and cut back on dairy. I eat soy milk with my cereal and avoid cheese mostly. I never used to eat breakfast and it has made a wold of difference since i started. I am feeling much better and actually crave veggies and fruit now. my fave is apples with peanut butter! im currently working out at curves 3 times a week as well as doing things like parking farther from the grocery store so i have to walk. I know diet pills arent a "cure-all" but they have made things much easier and given me the motivation i needed to stay on track. now my biggest challenge will be when i stop taking them.
