Smile Questions From A "Newbie"
I have only been taking Phentermine for just over a week. My doctor recommended starting with half the pill to see if that dosage would work. I lost 2 lbs. the first week! I just started on protein shakes today as a meal replacement and am eating one healthy meal a day. However, I'm wondering if that is the best diet. I want the weight to come off and STAY off, so I want to do the right thing. Also, I had LOTS of energy the first week, but am now finding myself wiped out half-way through the day. Is that normal? I'm wondering if I should take the entire pill instead of just half...Any advice would be appreciated!

Well, since your doctor said to try a half pill at fist to see if it would work, and IT'S NOT, I think the logical next step would be to take the whole pill now.

I agree I would take the entire pill and see how that works. My Dr. started me off on 30mg and working out give me a lot of energy and keeps the stress down. I think you need to do what works for you but I don't want to spend the rest of my life drinking my meals so I eat the way I want to be eating for a life time. I eat 3 meals a day and count my calories. I try to stay around 1200 calorie and I'm taking off 2 lbs a week and I feel get. I drink lots of water and try to eat as healthy as I can but I do treat myself once in a while but always watch my portion size. I learned that if I drink a full glass of water before I eat I won't eat as much. I also put my fork down in between bites and I can't be how little I need to eat to be satified. Good luck to you

Hey i would call your doc and tell that the half pill dose is not working as well as you like and you want to up it .Alway do what the dr says he knows your body best and whats safe for you . I wish luck and am am sure you will be at goal in no time stay strong and trus the lord .
