Hi I am new here.I am a mother and wife. I have 5 girls,I have always been a thin girl until my 3rd child,Know I feel like I am in someone elses body.I have asked my doctore for help as I do diet but dont loose.Well I went to my doctors last month and she wouldnt give me anything but did check my thyroid which was good.Today was my follow-up appointment and I begged her for help.I was almost in tears for help. She did give in but said she would only put me on for a month.I guess i'll have to beg for a few more months when I go back,lol
Well went to pharmacy and what do you know my insurance wouldnt cover it so I had to pay out of pocket which was fine.I am on 37.5 mg 1 a day. Only cost $33.00. I am looking for a buddy to share progress with and to keep each other motivated. Thanks

My insurance would not cover my phentermine until they faxed documents to my doctor and he filled them out - now they are covering it for 6 months. You might want to check with your insurance to see if they could do that for you. My prescription now only costs me $10.00 a month. It is worth a try. Just thought I would give you that little tidbit and welcome you!!

Welcome to the forum... I don't get to pop on here as much as I use to but I feel your pain with the baby weight. I go directly to a Diet Dr. and do not need a script, however its all out of pocket 100 every time I go. But this stuff does work and you will lose as long as you drink your water! and excercise about 3 times a week. I was power walking over the summer for about 40 mins 3 to 4 times a week and the weight was melting off like crazy. I did get a little lazy when I went back to work after maternity leave and stopped walking and now I'm stuck at around 160-162, I have about another 30 to lose before I hit goal. So I had the hubby hook up my eliptical machine and I promised myself to get back on the wagon. Also cut out all your soda too, that slowed me down a bit. Anyway enough about my sorry butt! Welcome. I am also new and looking to connect with some other "users"...lol. I am a mom of 2 (3yo girl and 6mo old boy), love them dearly, but good Lord, what a toll they took on my body! I have been on Phen for about 4 weeks now and only have lost about 9 lbs...28 more to go. With both children, I lost a huge amount of weight in the first couple of weeks, only to then put on about 7 or 8 lbs, and go nowhere from there. No matter what I tried, I stayed at the same weight. So recently my Dr suggested phen(after I sat in her office sobbing). I am not really comfortable with diet pills, so it took a little convincing, but I decided to give it a try. I would love to keep in touch and share success/setbacks with you.

Good luck on your Phen. If she wont give them to you for just a month and u want more.. go to a weight loss dr. that is what i did. Welcome and hopefully I will see you in the chat room

Good luck! I just started using the site and I've found it extremelyyyyy resourceful! I just wanted to say about the pricing, have you tried calling different pharmacies and getting them to do a price match to the lowest out of pocket cost? I called Costco got their price and my pharmacy matched it, I pay $16 a month for 30 tablets. Find out if your pharmacy will price match!!!
