Just started this morning!!!!
Hi everyone....
I just took my first pill this morning and I have to say that I'm really nervous and not sure what to expect. Any advice and reassurance would be helpful.... Of course I'm a nervous Nelly anyway....  |

Believe me, I am your fellow nervous nelly! Been taking phen for 4 days and it will be okay....
I have lost 5.5 pounds so far which I do believe is excess water but nonetheless it feels good to get on the scale and see it go down. I don't weigh in every day. I definitely have a decreased appetite so when I do eat, I make sure it is healthy and I drink gobs of water. This is a great forum and the good folks here are very supportive. Stay in touch with your progress..
Goal #1 - 20 lbs. by December 14th
Off to Hawaii ALOHA!

I started this AM also. I'm not so scared or nervous, but more anxious and excited. Knowing this is only a temporary drug to help get me started. I'm definitely taking what I eat serious also and trying to put some exercise into my daily routine also. I want to increase my overall body strength also, so I'm hoping to lift weights a couple times a week also. So here to a good start!

Thanks for everyone writing back.....I took my first pill this morning and I feel good, so there was nothing to worry about.
The weird thing is that I don't feel hungry already???? Is this normal or is it just in my head? |

Hi Kevin's Lucy I too just started today ... it is a bit scary taking any kind of pill
but figure the doctor wouldn't give me something that could harm . Its nice to see someone who started the same time as me, and its 8:30 p.m. here in pacifica (near san francisco) and I have no desire to eat usually at this time I want a snack. Good Lucky to us both ... will be nice to see how we do together can always use support hard to do a diet alone thats for sure .. .ciao for now |

Thanks Bunty for the reply.....Yes, it will be nice to have someone that started at the same time.
I went out to dinner with my husband last night to our favorite Mexican place and my husband was shocked at how little that I ate....didn't really have an appetite....so I guess that's good.... Jumped on the scale this morning and it's down 2.4 lbs.....so I'm happy....

I don't see the doctor till October 14th to find out how much I lost ... hate scales even weigh in backwards, silly I know but numbers freak me out... Congrats and keep it up !!!! |
